Located on a quiet close just off the main road & with easy access to the coastal path, this was perfect for our half term escape! We got to explore the immediate local area, as well as drive into Weymouth, onto Portland & other trips within a relatively small radius. The house was very clean & very comfortable. A reoccurring bug bear from other bookings has been the quality of the knives. pans & general usability of the kitchen (we like to cook!)......not so in Tidal Drift - the utensils & kitchen space is very well equipped & made for some lovely meals. Would definitely look to book again if we're in the area!

Tidal Drift is a lovely, mid-terrace property nestled in Wyke Regis, on the western side of Weymouth. Hosting three bedrooms, including a double, twin and single, along with a shower room and cloakroom, this property can sleep up to five guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. To the outside is off-road parking for one car and an enclosed garden with decking and furniture. Tidal Drift is a great escape to this stunning coastal position. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at an additional charge of 21.00 each. Please note: The two beds in the twin room can be linked together on request before your stay to become a note: Please contact Sykes Cottages if you wish to make a booking over 2 note that in July and August bookings must be taken from a Friday and for weekly stays only.

Neighbourhood information

Wyke Regis is a small village which is part of the south western suburbs of Weymouth, on the north shore of Portland Harbour and the south-eastern end of Chesil Beach. The village offers a few local shops, cafés and restaurants, including the popular Crab House café, with its own oyster beds on the doorstep. Chesil Beach is nearby and offers a gorgeous sandy expanse and great fishing opportunities, while the Fleet Lagoon that runs between Wyke Regis and Chesil Beach is an important area for wildlife.
