Bijou & compact cottage with south facing cottage garden.
Always available via phone or email.
Lostwithiel is a former stannery town and was once the capital of Cornwall. We have a (little known about) circular castle very close to The Prince of Wales residence. The town has two fabulous restaurants, one Michelin starred, and many popular cafes as well as a Chinese take away, a Fish & Chip shop, 4 pubs, a social centre, busy community centre and a local Co-op supermarket open until 10pm. We also have some lovely independent shops as well as The Duchy Nursery which is a must for a mooch around and lunch or afternoon tea with a spot of home ware shopping as well as plants. There is a train station too. There is a free car park in town by the Community Centre. There is also parking along the river to the right of the Co-op. However for the cottage access, I suggest parking on Uzella Park and walking up Couchwell Lane to access Victoria. We don’t offer parking.
