Everything! The Golf Green City Bungalow was charming, such a special placed just amazing! The location was perfect, the bed and room very comfortable, breakfast was great and the owner Prabath very helpful, welcoming and went out of his way to make my stay perfect.

The Golf Green is a Bungalow Type City Hotel, having easy access from Nuwara Eliya city centre and centrally located to gain access to main tourist attractions such as Mount Pedru (Highest point in Sri Lanka), Lake Gregory, World renown Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and Victoria Garden Lovers Leap waterfall and Leopard Rock are to name a few. It can be stated that this is the only bungalow type city hotel in Nuwara Eliya bordering a main city road, back end of the hotel has a nice greenery lawn overlooking Nuwara Eliya Golf Club grounds and section of Kikiliyamana Mountain range. ( Queen's Forest) The hotel can be approached within 10-minute walk to and from Nuwara Eliya Main Bus Stand and within 20-minute car drive to and from Railway Station known as Nanuoya. Colonial type simply designed newly renovated of a bungalow helps to maintain serenity from busy city environment. Cozy rooms come with vibrant stylised wooden furniture, especially the comfortable beds ,well maintained wooden floor, old British atmosphere and carefully decorated. Walls are white in color,warm lighting and perfect country pipe music gives special glamour at night.
