Great spot right near the train station and a very short walk into town. Lovely home set amongst the trees and with a really nice veranda where you can hang out. Sudha was a lovely host and made sure we were looked after.

The room and bathroom were clean, AC good. Our host was very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious breakfast outside on the terrace with the view on the pretty garden. We were very comfortable and hope that we can come back and stay longer

We couldn’t be happier with the friendly and helpful family who took care of us for 2 days. The location is really good. Only a few minutes to downtown Ella but located remotely in a tea field. Rooms and breakfast were really good for a homestay. Our highlight was the big terrace that invited our kids to play immediately…

The house is from a lovely family. They made us, a family of 5, really feel at home. The host Sudarshi is a very nice woman and she speaks perfect English. The house is located at walking distance from the station and the village but not directly on to the busy main street. Breakfast is great, the terrace in front of the house is really nice. We miss them already and want to visit again!

Lovely homestay in Ella. Very close to the train station if you arrive by train. The restaurants, cafés, shops, etc, are all within walking distance. Simple but clean room and bathroom. Bed is super comfortable. Possibility to get your laundry done. Good and reasonably priced breakfast to get you going in the morning. Wifi connection can be touch and go, but worked well overall. Just know that there is a steep slope to climb to reach the house. Not a problem if you travel with a backpack, but it is harder if you carry a suitcase.
