Situated in Winscombe, 22 km from Ashton Court, The Swan Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Wow what a great place this was! Quiet inn with big heart, fantastic staff, great food, beautiful local people to chat with, comfortable room. It was the highlight of our trip. Wendy took us under her wing immediately and ensured we had a table for the much anticipated Sunday roast. Will definitely return!

Situated in Wells and with Oldfield Park Train Station reachable within 33 km, The Sheep and Penguin features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The Sheep and Penguin is a brilliant, newly refurbished little inn. We had the pleasure of staying a couple of nights there. It's a great base to explore Wells and the wider Somerset region from. Excellent customer service from all of the staff, especially the manager Dan who made us feel completely welcome and gave us some excellent local recommendations. The pub downstairs is fantastic and the food was top notch. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a very comfy bed! We would highly recommend that everyone visiting Wells or Somerset should stay here!
