Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The receptionist from Turkey she was absolutely fabulous. Even they were fully booked she could help us in a very kind way. Everything like always perfect. I had tea at the lounge in the afternoon and I had asked for a baklava with the tea which they brought me. When I came to my room late in the night, I found a plate of baklava. That was so thoughtful and kind.

Amazing experience. Staff so careful and attentive. Room very comfortable, large and clean. Very tasty food. Very hearty breakfast. Pizzas in the Italian restaurant are delicious. Gym and steam room and sauna to end the day after relaxing on the private beach.

Our room was very comfortable. The staff were especially helpful. In particular, we had butler service and Ghanshyam went out of his way to make our stay feel extra special. Johanson greeted was on arrival and again he was super in also making us feel special during our stay. The location is good, across from the corniche. We didn’t use the beach but the pool and the beach area looked well looked after. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The weekend buffet seemed a touch better but overall the food was delicious. Good mix of local and international options. As this was our first time in Abu Dhabi, I can’t say if there are better locations to stay but we liked having the walking paths along the water at our disposal.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast buffet was amazing. Plenty of healthy options over and above the typical. The setting and outside temperature were perfect too. (April) Loved the pool and beach club. Poolside snacks were excellent. At night we ate at Azuro (attended by the lovely Rishi) and The Catch. The food at both was stunning. My daughter has a nut allergy, but due to the explanations and diligence of the staff she was able to try many new and exciting dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The staff really could not have done more.

United KingdomThere is not really anything to fault with the Regis, but just to note that when the pool area is busy it’s difficult to get a sun-bed, so I’d recommend getting there early. Also .. the beach sun beds we’re looking very tired and faded as they’re constantly in the sun and there were bird droppings on some of them. I think a solution would be towelling stretch covers that are washable then this would make it look and feel cleaner. Staff would only need to hand out 1 towel per guest instead of 2 so no extra demand on the environment.
Having travelled the world and stayed in many beautiful hotels .. I can honestly say the St Regis surpasses everything! Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was perfect. We were referred to by our first name after each initial introduction to a staff member. At the beach bar Christopher, Milan and Joseph made us feel like part of the family. The hotel is traditional by design with stunning ornate decor. It offers 3 restaurants and we ate in each - the food and service were of the highest standard. We would highly recommend the Regis and will definitely return.

ItalyI knew that the hotel wasn’t right on the beach - you have to use an underground path to get there, so for us that wasn’t a problem staying there just few nights and having more grown up children, so I just want to underline this for others. If you are Ok with a little walk, you will enjoy the hotel as much as we did.
The service was great! Everyone was really nice and going out of their way to please us. I quite liked the breakfast and the beach club was also very good. For our short stay the value was exceptional.

United Arab EmiratesThe only draw back is the walk to the beach. You have to walk through a long tunnel under the road. The beach bar area was a bit standard and not as luxurious as the hotel but it was fine.
The hotel is very luxury and beautifully designed. Each room has a personal butler which was very nice to have. The staff were lovely and the bed was the most luxurious and comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in!!! The bathrooms were absolutely stunning.

On the positive side: all problems were resolved promptly.

AustriaThis is an excellent house for a "bit of everything" visit - we would have chosen a different one for a quick museum visit or for a beach holiday with kids.
A perfect compromise for a first visit: excellent service, the usual opulent, marble-everywhere luxury and a great location. The St. Regis is central enough to allow you to explore with ease and yet on the beach - for a lazy break in the afternoon. Are there more beautiful beaches in Abu Dhabi? Definitely. Are some other hotels fancier/edgier/cooler? Of course. But here you get a bit of everything, plus friendly and competent service. The restaurant on the beach, Catch, is an easy recommendation too.
