1. Ocasionally there was a bad sewage smell from the bathroom, for 2 days. It started and ended quite randomly, no idea what was it. 2. No dinner service into the room, but restaurant was great, hence eventually not a big issue.

Team even provided us with free ealy check-in upon our early arrival. 3. Interesting hotel with history, great restaurant, and perfect location. 4. Great breakfast - we enjoyed the food very much, small things like yogurt even were made locally made. All was tasty, and very nice service. 5. No issues neither during arrival, stay or while checkout.

Perhaps I am being uncritical but I cannot think of anything that I disliked. You might think from what I have written that the hotel would appeal more to oldies like me. However, there were plenty of young people staying there at the same time as me, and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I really enjoyed the four nights I spent at this hotel. It's nicely located a few minutes' walk from Schwedenplatz. The room was comfortable and quiet. You get a proper key, which you hand in at the desk when you go out. I slept very well on all four nights. There was a minibar, which I didn't use. Breakfast is in a large restaurant and is excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. What I liked most about this hotel, and what makes me want to stay there again if I am in Vienna, is its lovely old-world charm. I suppose you would expect this in a hotel that describes itself as the oldest in Vienna, but even so, it's a real pleasure to experience it.

The breakfast was excellent with a variety of all sorts of breakfast dishes. Impressive with the SEKT BRUT! The staff was professional and welcoming. The location was perfect for our stay: walking distance to attractions in the area, the airport bus and the hop-on hop off bus. I will certainly prefer to stay here again on my return to Vienna.

Our trip to Vienna was truly memorable, thanks in large part to our wonderful stay at this hotel. Its prime location, just a 5-minute stroll from both the city center and the subway, made exploring the vibrant city incredibly convenient. Additionally, having a hop-on-hop-off bus station nearby and numerous supermarkets within easy reach further enhanced the convenience factor, making it an ideal base for our adventures. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel and the attentive service provided by the staff. Throughout our stay, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and hospitality. The breakfast offerings were satisfyingly diverse, providing us with plenty of options to fuel up for our days of exploration. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the hotel's charming terrace, where we enjoyed leisurely mornings sipping coffee and evenings relaxing with a beer, soaking in the ambiance of the city. Our room was a delightful retreat, boasting a cozy atmosphere and spacious layout. While some may perceive the furniture as 'old,' we found its classical charm to be a nod to the hotel's rich history, adding character to the space. Everything. The dining area was so beautiful. Chrystal, Orchids and golden eggs for Easter. It took my breath away. On my birthday the property arranged in the room a bottle of Spumante, a rose for my partner and a piece of Sacher torte for the two of us. The following day it was Easter and we were welcomed upon return to the room in the evening with two Lindt Golden bunnies…. Just amazing. Only the temp in the room was a bit warm but nothing that could affect the great experience

There was nothing I did not like about my stay at Hotel Stefanie!

4* star hotel but 5* quality of accommodation and service, in my view. The hotel is characterful and in a very convenient location, very close to Schwedenplatz where there are trams and a metro station (just one stop away from the central mainline station connecting to the airport). You can also easily walk into the city centre, where the main tourist sights are located. The hotel was spotlessly clean, every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and an excellent, varied breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10am. My bedding and towels were changed every day and my room was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend to others, and return if the opportunity arises.
