Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanySince we just stayed for one night, we cannot give any negative reviews. But of course there must be some improvement in room quality. In our room, the door lock did not work. We were provided with smart keys to lock or close the doors. But it did not work. Later we were provided a key 🗝️ to unlock or lock the key. Other than that we did not face any issues. Also I must say, we were provided a different room than the one we booked.
We liked the location. Also the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff members were helpful. In our booked rooms, breakfast was included. There are limited but sufficient options. Starting with coffee (many options), cereal with milk (full crime i guess), Cake, brown/white break (you can toast them as well), fruit juice (nicht frisch but tetra packs) and boiled eggs. They could also add fresh fruits.

United KingdomThere is no coffee or teabags or cups in the rooms. Breakfast had very few choices. They don’t take €12 city tax through card but cash and I ended up losing €4:50 commission at cash machine. Receptionist didn’t have a change for 20 and I got only €6 back.

United KingdomI arrived quite late and I tried to return the voicemail message from the hotel asking for my arrival time. When I got there I had to press a bell and was let in remotely but it wasn’t clear that my room key was in an envelope on reception.

GreeceThe hotel is on the 1st floor with no lift, it was kinda hard for us since we were carrying 3 bags. The couch in the room was looking dirty.
Very close to the train station (5min walk) and to the city center (15min walk). We were able to leave our bags, since we arrived early in the morning before check-in. Cleanliness was just okay. Overall a standard hotel for sleeping, if you need to be close to the train station, which is why we booked it.

United StatesThe room was too crowded to fit 5 people (and 2 in our party were just kids) and made harder with no room for luggage's. Plus there were no elevators, and the 3 flights of narrow stairs made it less convenient to bring up the luggages to the rooms.
The staff were helpful and it showed that they kept the cleanliness to the place.

GermanyFor my travel expense report, I need a hotel invoice with the complete address of my employer. However, I was unable to enter this address completely in Bokking. I therefore asked the hotel to issue a correct invoice. It took me 2 phone calls, 3 emails and a call to Booking before I finally received the correct invoice. In previous stays at other hotels, I was issued a corrected invoice directly in such a case.
The hotel is close to the railway station. At my last day in the hotel I could leave my luggage in the hotel, which was very convenient.

It's very close to the Hbf and almost everything is available within 5 mins of the hotel. The city centre and almost all attractions (except Hellbrun) can be walked to. Rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful.
