There were a lot of flies around and I think it was because it is right next door to a small farm with animals. Also, this is more of a quibble, it is deep in the valley, so even though sunrise was 7ish, the sun didn't make it over the mountains until 930.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room had a great mountain view. The room felt almost like a B&B - it was cozy. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the food.

For me nothing, but it’s not very disabled friendly in the way of lack of ramp access or lifts up to the rooms. But you have to take into account that it’s an old traditional hotel which makes it what it is.

Breakfast was everything you’d expect, a nice choice of cereals, fresh fruits, hot & cold meats, cheese’s etc. The hotel was located at the foot of a beautiful lake in a breathtaking valley. I had a stunning wraparound balcony with views of the mountains.

Very nice place that has a fantastic view of the mountains. It is a very quiet and peaceful place and the room was clean and nice.A perfect place if you want peace and quiet. The breakfast was very good and there is free parking. Location is very close to a lot of beautiful places you can visit.

There was no such thing (there was only one type of beer :) ).

The Hotel is in a very nice area, close to Gosausee and good starting point for any active relaxation. The Hotel is quiet and they even have big place for playing football and lit of small extra services (kids playground etc.)

the room was practically furnished. balcon overlooking the mountains in nature, but easily accessible spacious parking. The was friendly and helpful. Superb.

The host of the restaurant was impolite. At the beginning we stand at the door waiting for him to tell us if there is availability tables and when he saw us he just pointed out on table and said “ go go there” in such a way like he mad bc we came. Anyway, we went to that table that he pointed out, then he came towards us and threw the menu with some papers and pin then he said “ hurry up write what you want before the kitchen closed”. We couldn’t order then we left. He was so rude.

The blankets were too short for my height 1,88 m.

Excellent food (except for Topfen Strudel). Convenient location: cross-country skiing and hiking routes start next to the hotel. The room was cozy furnished, spacious and with renovated windows. Recently renovated spacious bathroom and big shower cabin with a window. Huge balcony with a view to both the mountains and the valley.

The guesthouse might not be located in the Gosau city center but it's placed conveniently within walking distance to the lakes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious - maybe a bit vintage but I found it really cosy. Comfy bed. The breakfast had nice options!

There was nothing to dislike--except having to leave!

The location of Hotel/Gasthof is excellent. It is at the base of a mountain that can be reached by car in 10-12 minutes. There is adequate parking in front of the hotel and the Gasthof portion is i a separate building across the street. Our room had a wrap around balcony so we had wonderful views of the surroundings. The staff seemed to be all family and their attention to details was exceptional. The breakfast is a buffet with every type of food and in large quantities. The restaurant is open from 11:00 to 20:30 daily and the menu is large and the food was excellent. There is a large selection of beverages from nonalcoholic to all types of beers and wines. The tourist city of Hallstadt is a 20 minute drive.

Friendly family hotel. Pizzas were a welcome feature of the menu. Breakfast was good. Dinner menu had good variety.

Rooms were a little dated, some other rooms had already been refurbished but we weren't lucky enough to get one of them.

Great location, lovely hotel right in the heart of Gosau. Outdoor pool if your are feeling brave. The views, man oh man, the views!
