Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicFood, this was probably the most disappointing for me. We have dined in their Braukeller grill restaurant, which is great, so I was expecting this to be a meat lovers paradise. We booked full board, and as we missed breakfast our first meal was lunch, this was one soup option and a pasta dish and apart from bread, that was it. The evening meal was not much better. They have every vegetable and seed known to man on offer to serve yourself, but no meat whatsoever, even the main course (cooked to order) offered only one option (pork in breadcrumbs), or you could order something to be cooked for you for an extra charge which was no different than if I went to the restaurant but wasn't staying in the hotel. On both the remaining evenings I ordered pizza, which is not what you want at a 5 star hotel (though it was actually good). Breakfast also was no better, I've never stayed at a hotel where there is no bacon, sausages and eggs (scrambled or fried) which you can just get yourself. Here, if you want something warm, you have to order it. The hotel apparently prides itself on everything being bio and having minimal waste, but this I think is a little much. The staff here (Anita) was also excellent, very helpful and really efficient.
We have been going to Seefeld for over 20 years, and have stayed in perhaps 8 different hotels. We have looked at Klosterbrau many times, but it is by far the most expensive hotel in the region. It has always been My wifes dream to stay there, so this year we booked a 3 day stay, full board. The hotel is extremely well run and you feel that the moment you walk in. The reception staff are very professional, really helpful. Our car and luggage were taken care of, we literally didn't have to do anything. Our room was not ready so we went for a walk and a bite to eat, came back a few hours later. We were given this huge key for the room, we went up to our floor (2) but stopped on the first floor because they have one of their special rooms open for guests to look at. This room was incredible! Bath in an open plan bedroom/living room, with its own infrared sauna and balcony. It was stunning, unfortunately our room was nothing like that. It was tiny, freezing cold, the window didn't open or close properly, there were cigarette burns on the bedside table and the carpets didn't look the cleanest. (please bare in mind this is €500 per night). The bathroom was OK, the shower was good. Coffee machine was good, and excellent WiFi. The hotel prides itself on the spa area, which to be honest is amazing, but it does not open the pool until 8am. This baffles me because so many people (My wife included) want to swim before breakfast and be on the slopes at 9am when they open. Back to the spa, it's amazing what they have done to create this spa area, notably the nude area. It is all molded into old cave like passageways with lots of relaxation rooms, romantic dining rooms and wine tasting area, the atmosphere is wonderful, with Gregorian chant music playing in the background, topped off with everyone in brown bathrobes to resemble the monks that once used these passageways. It truly is something to experience.

United KingdomNothing - everything was perfect.
Lovely food, had full board. The hotel was very friendly, the bar staff were super attentive- a welcome drink was offered (i had an Aperol spritz) the minute i stepped into the hotel - whilst the staff took my bags upstairs. In the evenings there was a piano player which gave the place additional ambience. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the beautiful town next to the church, and only 5 minutes walk from the train station (Innsbruck to Seefeld by train costs around 6.5 euros and takes around 35 minutes). Alot of original features in the hotel from when it was a monastery. The spa was amazing, had an exquisite massage after a day of skiing, then relaxed in the hot tub outside which has a perfect view of the snow capped mountains. The outdoor sun loungers had blankets for anyone wishing to spend some time relaxing in the sun.

Finland- the bed was too soft for my liking - the church bells are very close and wake you up at 7 am even on Sundays, so impossible to sleep late unless you are used to such noise every 15 mins, we weren't... - the service is nice and everything works well but maybe could have been more proactive and friendlier especially during the dinner, not quite 5* - the naked sauna area is very strange concept for us, so didn't go there after a quick visit to realize that everyone really was naked there without towels etc. However, there were plenty of non-naked areas to enjoy. - 0,75l water costs 8,5 EUR during dinner
- The spa area with many pools is great and much bigger than expected - The food is amazing and a great variety - The farm animals like goats were so lovely - special things like happy eggs, car parking service (even with the daily cost of 8,5 EUR) worked really well, teen's lounge etc - the suite was big and clean with beautiful views and balcony - the hotel is beautiful, so many candles lit in the evenings, the new and old designs match nicely

FranceMaybe at breakfast the coordination of the serving staff could be a little slicker - but this is really a very minor observation. Otherwise there is nothing more to add - everything was great
The staff were always extremely courtious and polite. Service was impeccable and customer focussed. Excellent breakfast - one of the best buffets I have see. Evening meal was also fantastic and my wife was delighted with the daily vegan menu - very rare for a hotel to put so much thought into such customer requirements. Location in the heart of Seefeld is ideal. The pool and wellness area is of the highest standard.
