The room was quite spacious and nice. The staff was really helpful, and the breakfast was really good. We stayed there for a weekend and certainly will come again.

Used the spa toilet and it wasn't clean. Also, 2nd day, in the room, they took out garbage + slightly arranged beds. 3rd day - nothing at all. 4th day - we left. The hotel is boutique and very small. The cleaning staff were my nationality and we are known for very good cleanness within any establishment. It was disappointing for me, especially after being nice and saluting the staff with kindness, to see they didn't do the bare minimum for the room. No staff after 7pm. No restaurant to eat (closest at 2km from the hotel). No bar. No service Amenities: shower gel + shampoo 2 in 1 in dispensers - not individual mini bottles. And no lotion and other regular stuff

The location is good if you are by car so you can travel around as well. If not, there is a ski slope next to the hotel and a very quiet area and it is still enjoyable for relaxation purposes. For fun, to reach Innsbruck or Solden, you need to be by car or you have a bus option. The hotel is very beautiful. Large rooms. Breakfast is lovely. The reception staff is adorable. We arrived late in the evening and we had a self check in (reception closing by 7pm). The easiest I have ever had. No effort at all. Very intuitive. Won't give details for security reasons.

Bit quiet in the evening the hotel is only a bed and breakfast hotel with no bar in the evening.

I locked my self outside the room and i tryed to reach the number what it stanted at the reseption (probably a owner or a manager ) and no one answered to me i called 2 times. I had to find a way by my self to open the door of the room...

If I had to be critical then I would say the bathroom facilities are functional but dated so could do with a modern update… Carpeting in the rooms could also be updated. Also the hotel bar area could remain open longer as it closes at 7pm which seems a missed opportunity for the hotel. Lastly as the nearest hotel to the ski slope, the hotel could also explore teaming up with the ski hire and lesson shop Intersport to offer further discounts since they recommend them for ski hire and lesson. But these are just recommendations and do not detract from the overall stay.

This hotel is located just 5 minute walk from the ski slope so couldn’t have been better located for a ski trip. Staff are super friendly and helpful and I have to mention Katrin. She replied to messages quickly before I got there, sent me the welcome card by email and so I was able to use the public transport from the airport with the clear directions she supplied. On arrival, I was lucky to be able to check in early as the room was ready. All staff I encountered at Hotel Garni were helpful and friendly. Nice lounge and bar area which free cakes and warm drink each afternoon. I also enjoyed the spa area of the hotel with sauna and steam room plus free snacks and refreshments… Apart from the skiing there is nothing else around the hotel so the welcome card can be used to explore the nearby villages of Lans and Igls. Igls has restaurants, bars and cafes…Innsbruck and other places are not far from Hotel Garni and the buses run regularly every day until late (11-ish). All in all a lovely stay and wouldn’t have an issues recommending a stay here…

Followed Google maps navigation, leading me via Igls on a road only accessible to 4-wheel driven cars or cars with snow chains. Little hint for approaching would have been helpful.

Just exactly what I needed for the night before crossing Brenner. Super cheap but fully comfortable room and great breakfast with helpful and very friendly staff. Bed was super comfortable.

Layout of the apartment is a little awkward.

Great breakfast, great bus connections to Old City, churches and restaurants. The hotel gave us free family bus card for 48 hours and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The facility is super clean.

The only thing and this is minor and would not prevent me from staying again was that the reception closed at 7pm which meant the bar did too.

Gorgeous property with warm and welcoming staff. When we checked in we were greeted with hot tea and snapps and there were cakes and apples available. The rooms were clean with plenty of space. The spa was clean and relaxing with drinks and snacks. The hotel was a short walk to the ski slopes, bar and equipment hire and the bus stopped right outside with frequent buses to Innsbruck during the day and returning every half an hour in the evening. There were good local restaurants which the hotel booked for us.

Wonderful! The hotel was beautiful, the perfect location for going up the mountain or getting the bus into Innsbruck. The staff were fantastic and so helpful providing us with any info we needed. We were so well looked after, and lots of lovely special touches throughout our stay for birthday and new year celebrations. The breakfast was absolutely amazing each morning, aswell as delicious treats in the afternoons. Thank you for such a fabulous stay, we didn't want to leave!

Very friendly staff that even celebrated our daughter's birthday by surprise after seeing her birthday on the registration, which we are very thankful for! An excellent place with warm people for your stop in this area, highly recommended.

Lack of noise insulation meant we could hear voices from the room nextdoor until late. Nowhere close for dinner (no food available at the hotel) so we had to drive to find a restaurant.

Large room with entrance hall and second door to bedroom which shut out noise from corridor. Friendly welcome.

No meals available in hotel after breakfast

Large room, good breakfast, decent bed, only 1 bus stop from ski area. Staff were super helpful sorting out evening restaurant bookings at local restaurants and setting up the steam/sauna/ spa area in afternoons on request. Also provided a pass for free use of frequent buses between hotel, ski area and downtown Innsbruck. Plenty of warm drink and cakes when returning to hotel.
