complicated arrival by car due to a restricted zone (pay attention to the first arrival to the hotel, GPS could be misleading)

staying at the main square of Linz was marvellous; the room was quite big and well-equipped with a window leading to the main square (with a Christmas tree :)); breakfast was excellent with all you can imagine (or even can't) - candle lighting at the table, baileys, prosecco, whipped cream, fresh juice etc.; kind receptionist

The only thing that was not the best was that we asked for one bed for two people, a king-sized bed and it was two separate beds put together, which was not so comfortable.

The breakfast was unbelievable, it was amazing. Super nice staff, very helpful. Wonderful room with nice view. Fantastic location. Highly recommended place!

Needing to walk basically outside to reach the room or to get to breakfast (it can be cold). Room could be larger (especially if three people take one room). More furniture (such as working table) would be nice.

There Is no Lift at the Main entrance, but the hotel is so Nice old styled

Unfortunately, our room had an upper window which wouldn't close and we were very close to the glockenspiel next door whose bells rang every quarter hour, stopping (we think) only at 10pm and starting again around 6am.

This Hotel is in an atmospheric old building on the Hauptplatz, the central square of old-town Linz, close to many shops, restaurants, and sites and to the Danube River. The hotel offers parking under the square at a discounted rate. The buffet breakfast is ample and diverse, although it doesn't offer hot food except for soft-boiled eggs. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Parking in the area is not that convenient. Rooms are little bit dark.

One thing could be better, but because of the location of the hotel it's impossible - the parking. But I don't mean it as negative point, just not as comfortable.

I can't say I didn't like this, but breakfast didn't have many warm foods, maybe that's the way people eat in Austria, I don't know, but besides boiled eggs, the rest of the options there were cold. Once again, this is my personal preference, and don't get me wrong, you had plenty of choices, but I prefer an omelet, some sausages/bacon, maybe some mushrooms, anything, to be honest, just to be a warm meal.

The hotel is right in the city center with the tram station maybe 100-200m from it. The room was awesome, we had an apartment booked, very clean. The bathroom was very big with all the amenities. The people at the front desk were some of the nicest we've met, they were kind enough to explain everything to us regarding parking, which at first seemed a bit complicated, but it was very simple once we spoke with them. Highly highly recommend it!

Receptionist was a little brusque, carrying luggage from the car parking to the hotel was difficult and tiring after a long day's drive. The steps up into the hotel were a bit steep.

The location was great, but it should be made clear when you book and are arriving by car, that parking is in the Haupt parking platz which is difficult to find if you don't know where it is clear directions should be given. But on the whole a great place to stay and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice but no cooked bacon 😕

The photos on their website may only be a few rooms within the hotel as mine looked nothing like the photos. A little smaller and more basic.

The hotel has lots of character and is in a great location. It’s a beautiful old building. Staff was very nice and it was great that they had a bike storage locker. Breakfast was excellent. I would come back any time!
