Aircon barely worked and it was noisy , no view, patio wasn’t swept so dirt gets dragged in to the room . Tile floors were awful. I left the key at reception after leaving two days earlier than my check out date as I didn’t like the room at all . A day later management rang me claiming I left something ( even though I hadn’t) in the room as a deceptive way to find out if I was coming back or not despite the fact I had returned the key and pre paid for 4 days, definitely no offer of a refund either ( no surprise there) . Advertisement on TripAdvisor is deceptive , showing well manicured gardens . Place is a dump . A place to stay if you’re desperate.

The location of the place I stayed was outside the city. Unfortunately, the room I was given was in the basement, and it had a dark and unpleasant smell throughout the corridor and the room. The washroom was also not well-maintained. As soon as I entered, I felt extremely scared and uncomfortable. The actual place was nothing like what was shown in the pictures. It gave me the impression that I had entered an illegal or jail-like environment, and I felt very insecure. Moreover, there was no security system in place, which added to my concerns. It was a terrible experience, especially since I had already paid in advance. Due to feeling unsafe as a lone female, I had to find another hotel and couldn't spend even a single night there. It was a complete waste of my money.

Didn't really dislike anything. There was a slight chlorine smell occasionally as the pool was in the wind path to our room, but it wasn't a problem.

Liked the location: far enough out of the CBD to be cheaper, but not so far that it was inconvenient. We used public transport (bus) while there. The bus stop was close by, the fares good, and traveling time not too long. The resort is starting to show its age, but was clean and comfortable, with good facilities. There wasn't much road noise, which was a surprise being adjacent to a major highway.

Was a cheap room, so expected it to need maintenance, etc. The room had a funny smell, like stale and not clean. We weren't supplied enough toilet paper or soap. Other places we have stayed have never had to worry about soap and toilet paper. We have stayed in cheap places before, and although they may be run down, they are always clean and have all the supplies needed.

Distance from city and airport. Noisy highway nearby. Wifi drops out regularly in the soundproof rooms.

The room smelt . When we went there they had the door open with fan going . Booked for three nights. But the horrible smell didn't go away . I thought in the end it was coming from the drain in bathroom??

The facility and night managers were really great , showed alot of respect and was nice , we were up from Townsville on a footy trip after our game we went back to the resort for a few drinks in the pool , swim and played abit of chess he came in and let us know we have afew minutes left be for they close , so we done the right thing got out picked our stuff and rubbish and walked out while he was waiting for us , he pulled up and had a chat with me and was very nice , I will definitely be booking there again bit this time with my partner and kids , location was great 5 stars from me

A little bit far from the city.

Lovely big spacious room. Very nice pool and BBQ area. 5 min drive to major shopping centre. 2 min drive to bottleshop and IGA. Lovely staff.

The room was old and had not been renovated for many years despite the claim in the advertisement in Booking.com. The bathroom was old and mouldy in the shower with inadequate ventilation and did not have a hairdryer. The queen bed was adequate, but not fabulous. Smoking was allowed outside of the room on the small walk way and around the pool, which was very unpleasant and left a lingering smell.

The pool area was quite nice and the BBQs looked clean, however we did not use them during our stay. The room had a good sized fridge and a kitchenette which contained the basic supplies and a microwave. The aircon worked well and was appreciated. The room rate was quite cheap comparatively speaking, so you get what you paid for.

Wifi didn't appear to be included, so just as well I have my own mobile Internet as back-up. However most places these days offer free Wifi. When I went to connect to the Wifi, a screen came up advising that you had to pay approx $20 to sign into it, which wasn't very appealing, so I just used my own mobile Internet. Then again, the charge per night for the room was quite reasonable. EDIT: There was a slight misunderstanding regarding the Wifi being included. Disregard my above comment!

A good place to stay. Very much liked the spacious room on the first floor (not ground). Good facilities in room and big screen TV. Good spacious shower with good pressure. Everything clean and up to standard. The manager at the reception desk was friendly and helpful with regards to the local area.

In 12 days linen changed once. Staying for that time thought tea, coffee etc would be topped up. Also only 2 burner stove that's was a bit rusted. No oven. Fridge needed new seal as well.
