How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No linen on sofa bed or pillows provided. No soap or basic amenities in bathroom other than old communal bottle of shower gel. Sofa bed heavily stained. Staffed remotely with no one on premise

Blinds on windows, gaps allowed light in and potentially someone looking in. Windows allowed small airflow (which couldn't be stopped) that caused the blinds to bang against the wall.
A/C was reasonably new, bed was comfortable and although the bathroom was a little run down, was clean and tidy.

On the main rd so alittle traffic.
Close to Cactus Country and walking distance to Pub for a meal. Check In was by message with details for entry to room. Great Air Con was warm when we arrived.

The bed definitely needs replacing !!! It was noisy through the walls No face washers, no tea towels. No hooks to hang clothes. No extra pillows & they were flat as tacks! The lights were terribly bright & pointed right at your face The tv in our room was mounted up not high enough & I belted my head on it badly coming out of the bathroom. It would’ve been nice to have the cooling on as the room was boiling hot.
It was clean & met our needs for the night. Thank goodness it had aircon. Easy transaction & entry.

Wifi signal was not picked up in the room, password unsuccessful Limited kitchenette facilities for a larger group, limited power points for microwave and kettle and options to charge devices Bedside lamp did not work
Lovely location along the river - nice view - good for families, spacious room for 4 to stay one night. Good shower pressure and spacious bathroom . Comfortable bed

The room is very basic and beds were not the most comfortabe (especially the fold out couch). Cleanliness was a bit "hit and miss" and the room/bathroom could do with a bit of an update - it did look tired.
Conventient place to stop for the night, just over the border of NSW. Relatively quiet, given major highway is running in front of room. Resonable value for money, given you are getting your own bathroom and basic (microwave, toaster & kettle) kitchenette.

Thin sheets - but they were clean & bed was comfy enough. Prev comments recommended to use earplugs & sleep masks - we agree, were prepared & slept well.

The window was hard to open and close. There was a half eaten jam doughnut in the cupboard.
The bedding was pretty. The air con worked, the kettle worked, the shower was warm.

Couch was like sitting on a rock, room didn't really resemble what is shown in most of the pictures. No real way to wash up dishes properly, though we were already aware there wasn't a full kitchenette, so not the end of the world. Bottle brush outside our parking spot needs a serious uplift/lopping as it brushed right along side my ute every time and I wasn't about to park elsewhere or take someone else's spot. Left me constantly covered in its flowers, sticks and insects along with getting all in the car as every time it would get closed up in the doors.
Bed was comfy for a spring style mattress, showers had great hot water.

location is very handy. bakery is open @ 6am for a coffee etc & the Railway hotel have hearty meals. I had to check out a day early due to personal reasons & I was granted a refund the same day :)
