The front lobby smells mouldy. The pillows were terrible. The stove was difficult to work.

My room is ready for a refurb but was very clean and comfortable. Just needs freshening up.

Il Centro was in a great location for the Convention Centre where I was attending a conference. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Well equipped with laundry and kitchen facilities and plenty of the daily essentials such as soaps and shampoos dishwashing liquid, t-towels, tea and coffee etc. Nice furnishings including desk, couch, dinning table, two televisions.

The location of the main room lighting was oddly positioned and took some time to find but this may simply be a post-flight "me" issue. They were hidden behind the door in the bedroom so not hiding in plain sight.

Approximately 5 minutes walk to the conference centre, shopping centre and local restaurants. Air conditioning was perfect and kitchen facilities were spot on. Apartment serviced beautifully.

It says ‘self-catering’ hotel, so I guess no one clean the room? I only had 1 time cleaning by sending a message to request cleaning, and they only changed the towel and garbage, did not clean the floor (clearly hairs were visible). I would suggest if you do the cleaning, do it properly.

Very big room with good view and lovely small balcony. The location is in the opposite of police station and the court, makes you feel very safe, lol. The owner is very friendly too, provide early check in when possible and also suggest great local market nearby.

There was a bit of a mix-up during check-in. The front desk had closed for the day (earlier than posted), and the night desk service (a call centre) did not have the manifest for the night. I was left standing on the street for a short time while they sorted it. The front office did not seem to be open at the posted times, particularly in the afternoon.

Good location - just outside the CBD (so avoid a lot of the noise) but close enough to be able to walk there, the Esplanade and Cairns Central. Room is well equipped and quite spacious - the inclusion of a washer and drier is a big plus and one of the reasons I stay here when visiting Cairns.

The pool wasn’t the best, a lot of rooms on look it so as a female travelling alone, it wasn’t the nicest place to hang out.

I arrived in at 1am and I had an phone call and easy explanation on how to get in after my plane was delayed 9 hours. The front door service was great! Warren was the best!

The bathroom had old fittings, needs updating, and didn't like the shower over the bath., was quite small too.

The location was good, close to most things but still reasonably quiet at night. The apartment was spacious and the bed comfortable. Loved the swimming pool.

The bathroom is in need of a refit. There were signs of paint lifting, rust etc. Didn’t like the shower over bath combination. Large step to get in & out.

Great apartment complex. Excellent facilities, easy & safe secure parking. Apartment was very spacious & well fitted out & also had a nice balcony. Pool area was good & nice coffee at cafe. Safe area as opposite the police station. Manager was a hoot.
