The remote controls for the lounge room .was a bit confusing on which to use and the batteries were flat on the controller we needed to use to change channels.

Unfortunately we did find a few dirty dishes pushed to the back of the cupboard, frypan not scrubbed properly & glasses were a bit smudged , just bringing this to your attention …. BUT we are a family not to complain 😊 I just cleaned them up & everything was fine! It didn’t ruin our 1st family holiday in 2 years 😃😃😃

This time was wonderful the last time we went a few years back there was a party going on the whole night which wasn't pleasant but it looks like new rules are made for no loud music an partys.

It would be good to have a few more options to eat at that were in short walking distance. Surf Air is OK, preferred previous management. Noise from David Low Way in back bedroom was very load.

Staff were helpful. The Sand Dunes Resort was great, great pool area, spa eyc and the units were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Good to have undercover parking in a secure location and close to units. Airport handy distance as most of friends flew in from interstate.

I hesitated when I saw the resort was so close to the airport, but thankfully there is a curfew so you're not woken up by air traffic at night.

Enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach, which is so close to the resort. The resort is very well looked after, and we enjoyed the pool and spa.

The roof leaked into our bedroom and was dripping all night keeping us awake. I get that this can happen especially with heavy rain but the service we received was terrible. Someone finally came to look and all they did was put a larger towel (we had already put a small one on the floor) on the floor and said they’ll have to get someone to take a look. We ended up wedging a towel in the man hole to stop the annoying drip as it rained multiple times the week we were there. We weren’t offered any further towels, solutions, compensation or even an apology. I pointed it out again when we left (as we hadn’t heard anything further) and also a new leak in the bathroom light. Again the only response I received was we’ll have to get someone to look now you’ve checked out. It was not cheap to stay here and I expected better service.

Beautiful large lagoon pool and lovely smaller heated pool, with plenty of loungers. Large spa. Close to the beach and small shops/places to eat. Comfy beds. Good showers, especially in the master. High covered parking to fit 4wd. Plenty of seating and space in the townhouse.

Wld have loved a restaurant in the complex and a buffet breakfast wld have been excellent but we got food in so was all good. A lift wld have been great as we were on the 3rd floor but good exercise I spose.

The 2 bdrm unit had 3 aircons but we cldnt get the temp below 22 degrees, the units wld just stop so not cold enough for us, the internet was very unreliable but overall it was a lovely resort, great staff, gorgeous pools and lovely unit. Wld return.
