Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great pool for kids! Access to SeaWorld theme park via the back of the park which is nice and handy. Saves having to wait in line at the front of the park.

AustraliaResort is a good 15 minute walk to sea world.
We stayed at bay wing . The rooms were small but comfortable. swimming area for kids was good and had plenty of activities for kids. The food and beverage manger and shoreline restaurant manager and the concierge and the front desk were very accommodating and helpful.

AustraliaThe resort was very busy so there was a lot of time spent waiting in ques for breakfast, to get drinks and checking. This was not relayed to us when we were checking in. It put a bit of a damper on the holiday.

AustraliaParking at the resort is terrible; not enough spaces for the number of guests. You have to find a park on the street and walk! Also, the room air conditioner is loud and makes sleeping difficult.
Perfect stay for families visiting the theme parks. Buffet breakfast was great; lots of options!!

AustraliaThere was no freezer in the fridge in the room. We dined at the Pizza Restaurant and were overcharged and we were told we would get $25 credited to our Room by the manager but it never occurred.
The children loved the pool area and water park. The pool surrounds are great for watching the children in the pool.

AustraliaThe rooms are starting to look tired/outdated and the beds weren't all that comfy and were small.
A brilliant resort with some great facilities. We loved the pool and water park, friendly staff, buffet breakfast. So much fun for families and the gardens were immaculate. It was so quiet in the room at night which is a huge bonus for us!

AustraliaIt would be great if the onsite restaurants offered a bit more variety. Most have fried food/chips/burgers/pizza which is very similar to the food served in the parks so by the end of each day we were feeling pretty yuck and looking for some healthier options. The Japanese restaurant was booked out and Hubby and I couldn’t justify the price of the Buffet Dinner as we don’t eat seafood. It would also be great if all of the onsite restaurants offered room service not just a couple of items from the Lobby Bar.
The theme park package including unlimited theme park entry and buffet breakfast was excellent value. Aside from a slightly outdated bathroom will dull lighting our room was excellent. It was well cleaned with plenty of space for the 3 of us and I found the beds to be really comfortable. We had wonderful views overlooking the water and were literally steps to the splash park meaning hubby and I could enjoy a drink on our patio while our daughter played in view. We loved that we could come and go as we pleased to SeaWorld via the private resort entry in the Gift Shop. Our dinner from Melrose Italian on night 1 was delicious and ready in under 10 minutes.

AustraliaThe spa was barely warm and closed at 7pm which is quite disappointing because it would be nice to relax in the spa after dinner. It could be advertised that no lifeguard will be on shift after 7 instead of closing the pool so early. If would be better if you could call the restaurants from the room phone and then come pick it up when it’s ready instead of having to walk and wait for it. The construction right outside our window was quite frustrating in the morning but it is what it is.
You got a 2 day theme park pass included. It was a short drive away from surfers centre and sea world.

AustraliaDidn't like the fact that the mono rail into Seaworld is no longer operational and you have to walk down ramps to get into the park and the only way back to the resort from the front gate is to walk. This is ok if you are fit and healthy but those with mobility issues or small children will find it challenging.
I liked the fact that during the extreme weather the choice of restaurants was such that you really didn't need to leave the resort. Great place for families to stay.

AustraliaIt's bit far from the city centre and if you don't have a vehicle , commuting may be expensive with rideshare and time consuming if you choose public transport.
We took the room plus 3 theme parks tickets. The unlimited access to sea world was the best part as we could go there within minutes when we feel like going. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was great. We tried food from shoreline restaurent, melrose and the lobby. Prices were reasonable and food was ok. (We love spicy food with lots of flavors. But the food here was mostly western food items which are usually blunt. So can't blame on that ).
