Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaDidn't like the fact that the mono rail into Seaworld is no longer operational and you have to walk down ramps to get into the park and the only way back to the resort from the front gate is to walk. This is ok if you are fit and healthy but those with mobility issues or small children will find it challenging.
I liked the fact that during the extreme weather the choice of restaurants was such that you really didn't need to leave the resort. Great place for families to stay.

AustraliaIt's bit far from the city centre and if you don't have a vehicle , commuting may be expensive with rideshare and time consuming if you choose public transport.
We took the room plus 3 theme parks tickets. The unlimited access to sea world was the best part as we could go there within minutes when we feel like going. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was great. We tried food from shoreline restaurent, melrose and the lobby. Prices were reasonable and food was ok. (We love spicy food with lots of flavors. But the food here was mostly western food items which are usually blunt. So can't blame on that ).

Australia1. Price of stay is a little high compared to other resorts. 2. Complimentary bottled water should be provided daily. This is pretty standard with many hotels. Paying high amounts of money for water bottles for the family from the resort is not ideal. Best to bring bottles of water with you.
Location to sea world Theme park package was amazing Deluxe Rooms are nice, large and renovated Staff are friendly and very helpful Pool and facilities are great Kids absolutely loved it

AustraliaWe found it unusual that there is was no complementary water in our rooms, considering the money we spent you would think there would be bottles of drinking water. this is a standard now in many hotels and resorts.

AustraliaI didn’t like when i asked breakfast prices at front desk regarding my 5 year old grandson and was told 15 dollars was charged 25 the child ate two pancakes and a cup of juice. PRICING should be clear i would have eaten somewhere less expensive. Also the breakfast area was soo hot no aircon on was seated towards the back had to carry tiny cups of juices you spill half of on the way back think if you set up juice and water stations on the other side of the restaurant it would make for less spill every other large resort has this along with the coffee machines. For the prices charged a few small changes it could be great all round. The staff were great helpful happy smiling and welcoming. Thanks to everyone there my grandson was spoilt rotten. KIND REGARDS TO ALL
I liked the family atmosphere the pools and play equipment for our grandson. Loved the educational animal shows he learnt a lot enjoyed his time in the park

Indonesiawestern buffet breakfast was not so great... very limited variety, everyday literally same breakfast. They should put some Asian options too There is not a single soup option in the food menu for lunch etc,, all western options only. But they do have an expensive Japanese diner, never tried There is not a single shop around or outside the resort...so you are pretty much stuck with whatever is in the resort
Literally everything was good, well managed ,,great service

New ZealandThe eateries there were too expensive considering the amount of money we paid for our 5 night stay, and the food was average. For example , a coffee and hot chocolate costed $11. Food was overpriced by a lot. We paid $3,600 for 5nights to stay there, we could at least get free laundry and free complimentary tickets for 3 consecutive days OR free breakfast or free dinner OR even better , cut down on the food prices.
The Waterpark was fun for the kids and it was very handy being on the 1st level , easy access to the pool.
