The room was not clean, hair and body hair on the sheets and in the shower, the duvet was torn and the bed was uncomfortable… I’ve never slept so badly before. The bathroom fan never turned off and it was really noisy. The price was really high compared to the services that have been offered .

Mismatch between the quality and the price of the hostel, there was no soap, there was also no duvet cover, only pillow cover and bed sheet.

the shower was a catastrophe. the water was cold, it never got warm. note that I visited with the temperature in the city being below zero, the floor of the room is concrete which is cold, and then the shower has no warm water. I almost didn't shower in 3 days with fear of going sick from the cold shower. it was a shame that in order to keep myself warm during the stay I had to avoid hygiene. if the temperature is not bad enough, the shower has no head, it sprays in random directions. the toilet did have a distant bad smell, even though the surfaces were clean, a distant "toilet smell" was there. I don't want to be graphic, you can imagine what I mean. the breakfast was OK from the food point of view, but the coffee was undrinkable. it was a very watered down coffee-like drink with some strange big bubbles - the bubbles you expect to see when you use dish soap to wash dishes, not the bubbles of proper coffee. I was not able to drink it, so unfortunately I had to spend extra money to drink coffee elsewhere.

the building itself was great, new, bright inside. even the room had nice windows and was bright. as you would expect.

Bedrooms look loke a jail,not even a bedside table,a towel ,glass or soap. Matress are so thin that you can feel the hard bed base.

Really disappointing Bathroom. Ridiculous shower. No towel to be left on the floor. I had to use my own towel (paid) on the floor to step on after shower. Poor breakfast with little options and coffee tasted very bad.

Lounge with loads of information for tourists. Free luggage storage if needed. Spacious room.

We find quite annoying the fact that not towels weren't provided, not even with the option to rent one. Also quite sad that there was no hand soap provided in the room. Furthermore, we had to make up and clean our beds (which were not clean). For 85€ per night, someone would expect to be at least provided and in good condition.

We could hardly sleep because of how uncomfortable the bed was, the pillow was so thin that it was as if we didn't have it, also the noises of the other guests at dawn woke us up several times

Don't go that hotel, if you wanna able to sleep. They gave us the floor with 60 kids. They will wake up at 7 and start to scream and run on the corridor, play with the ball... same thing happens also during the day. Due to hostel it is ok. Because it was during the day time... Well for me not ok. I felt like there were 10 kids in my room. Got really headache and I was feeling so tired during the trip, that I couldn't enjoy. I booked a double room. One night per person 81 euro. Normally for that price beds are already ready for the guests. But not this time. They didn't even clean the bed. They are so many small hair all over the bed. I hated to clean it with the toilet paper. And beside that beds are really not comfortable. My back got worse. So I don't suggest. Not clean and no respect for the guests.

The place is made out of concrete and it is extremely acoustic. You can hear every little movment – not to mention people comming back from a night out in Antwerp! Better have your earplugs with you! Because of the concrete the place is not cosy at all, it is even a little bit unfriendly. This does not bother in the common areas so much as in the rooms. Pillows and matraces are plastic (due to hygenic reasons but it is not nice, like in the hospital). The quilt had no pillowcase (only additional sheet was added to separate the quilt from the body but it moved all the time. There was no access to the kitchen or even hot water after breakfast.

Location is undoubtedly the best feature of this hostel. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The interior design is basic and minimalistic (which I like). Breakfast was also good, + for the fresh fruits but no fresh vegetables. Internet connection was ok.
