The superior rooms with king-size bed is actually two big beds joined together but they still have a huge gap in-between, which is not super comfy at night. I requested an iron, which arrived without a board and had an extremely short cord, so I had to iron on a towel on the floor, which was quite the challenge.

The rooms are big and clean. The views to the river and city are great. There is air-co, which is very helpful during the summer. The stuff of the hotel is very friendly and responsive. The summer garden is a great place for dinner or drinks. There is free parking too.

The shower was leaking and the drain was not functioning properly. The vanity kit was empty in both toilettes. Small stuff but prevents me of giving a 10.

The lobby bar closed at 11 and they made us leave! 🥲 We’d been out for a meal on the first night and wanted a drink before bed but everywhere was locked up and we were told by reception that we couldn’t get a drink! not very good

The only thing I did not enjoy was that the shower head was not adjustable and the water would hit the glass shower door and seep underneath thus flooding the rest of the bathroom. The bathroom is otherwise very nice and recently remodeled and the shower has its own enclosure which is not particularly common in Bulgaria but appreciated.

Great location by the Danube river, great sweeping views of the river walk and the Danube. Rooms are comfortable, pillows are fluffy and we got plenty of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property has a nice restaurant garden overlooking the river with a small playground for kids to play after dinner.

Executive rooms in renovated floors are very beautiful. Executive rooms in non renovated floors are not good. Why booking.com is selling the same class of rooms, but the hotel is not giving the same ? Have you checked that?

Everything was perfect.

We took the executive suite from the 10th floor. An amazing river view. The apartment is complete, modern equipped with all you need. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. A place to come back.

Breakfast could be a bit tastier, although it does have a good enough variety. The coffee definitely isn’t 4 stars though.

Clean, quiet, modern, large, comfortable rooms in an, otherwise, old structure. The double bed is large enough (180 cm) to sleep 2 parents and a todler. Rooms has toiletries, snacks and water. Location is excellent! Terassa restaurant (5 minutes walk) is highly recommended. A walk in the adjacent park before your dinner is also highly recommended.

Fridge wasn't working so the stuff that was in it was warm.I arrived late at night and was thirsty and had to drink warm water and Fanta orange. Wafer thin walls and I could hear people's conversations which wasn't pleasant. Cigarette smell which was strange as smoking is prohibited.

We tried the breakfast, and it was ok, but we liked more walking to the nearby Planet Food, which had better selection and nicer sitting.

The hotel is renovated and although it is an old structure - signature building for Ruse - the rooms feel really nice. Take the Executive room - the price difference is not big, but these rooms are high up, with spectacular view of the Danube, and furnished nicely in blue and white. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location on the waterfront is central, we could walk to all points of interest we wanted to see. Nearby two nice restaurants: Pontona for lunch, and Terassa for dinner - both on the river and highly recommended, especially Terassa.
