For the love of esthetics, please change the shower curtain. It's moldy, falls apart and doesn't make you want to get into the bath at all. Come on guys, a small investment can improve the impression massively!

Very friendly staff, good restaurant with authentic cuisine. As a fan of historic features and furniture, I found the room quite elegant with a French corbeille bed. The building itself is from 1653 and chas a lot of charm.

More electrical outlets but seeing that it is over 300 years old can't really fault the property. Luggage to car situation is a little rough. You can drive to the front of the hotel but we didn't find that out until we were checking out.

The view from our room was spectacular. We laid in bed and stared at the alps in all their glory. Cute bathroom with all needed amenities. Very clean and cozy. This place is in amazing shape for how old it is (300 years plus). The outside property was so nice. We found interesting things at every turn. Views of the castle from every angle. The area at the top of the hill would be perfect for a wedding. Staff was warm and helpful and the food was really good. Loved their was a lift as I had ALOT of luggage.

Old style bath tub that can be a hazard that you may tripped and fall. There wasn’t any sign’ posted that warned customer that the floor is wet. I slipped on the wet floor and did a leg split. Not a comfortable situation.

Bathroom could do with updating, a simple update to the shower head location so it can be used as a full body shower vs. hand shower would be a great improvement.

Great views from our room facing the mountains with the most comfortable sleep of our vacation. My husband hasn't stopped talking about the great pillow! Lovely, cosy decor in a good sized room offering a great location & yummy breakfast in the morning.

Historical building with lovely woodwork. Included breakfast was good. Loved the location being right in the center of Gruyere. We could pull up in front of the hotel to unload but the car had to be parked in the parking lots available. Beautiful little town with lots to look at, all within walking distance.

Very friendly welcome. We were shown personally to our room and informed of the layout of the hotel. Unusual to have such service these days. Thank you to the young lady who was at reception!

Bed was not at all comfortable. It’s a small hotel-restaurant, so nobody is there all the time at the reception. Had to wait. Breakfast was from 8 to 10 am but already at 8.45 no orange juice, no bread etc.was left . The staff was missing and finally somebody looked for them. Brought juice and were asked to wait for bread as it was in the oven.

Breakfast was nice but didn't have many options. Travel adapter didn't fit the sockets in the room, so couldn't charge devices.

Amazing location right in Gruyeres. Room was pretty comfortable and quiet, with a cozy ambiance.

Despite the view and great services, the hotel is quite basic. It was totally fine for a weekend but it's not a fancy spot for a longer holiday.

The location is perfect, right in the pedestrian village and with an amazing terrace overlooking the castle and valley around.

Room - beautiful view of the medieval street outside our upstairs window and room for 3 singles. Would suggest asking for room in the back if possible as it was noisy with window open first thing in the morning.

It was very loud at night and early in the morning.

The location is right in the old historical town and beautiful views from the back. Unfortunately our room backed up to the gravel road entrance for the food delivery so it was loud early in the morning. The staff were very kind and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good.

Bathroom fixtures were quite old and I felt a bit nervous they would come off the wall.

Maybe clearer instructions regarding parking near the hotel for luggage drop off and then to park outside the village overnight.

Breakfast was ok typical continental breakfast. The room had a lovely view of the mountains and fields. Staff were very friendly.
