Not much! I only wish the terrace had more seating; there weren't many guests staying so I usually had it to myself but I expect when it's busier you wouldn't be able to sit outside.

The location was perfect - just off the main road, only a 5-minute walk to the station and the Coop, right by a bus stop, and a 10-minute walk to the Pfingstegg cable car. The view from the small terrace was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and as it was served from 07:30 it was easy to head out early on hikes while the weather was good. My room (single, shared bathroom) was perfect for my needs with loads of storage space, so I didn't have my suitcase taking up loads of room.

We have absolutely liked this place. It is located in a quiet corner but also not too far to the restaurants and amenities around (cable car, bus stand, railway station, children playground, supermarkets). We had a room with a bank bed, it is quite small space but it have all necessary thing service in the room and at the common room. The view from our room were all outstanding, we can enjoy both from our room and also from the balcony. We like all, breakfast, service, cleanliness, friendliness.

Excellent, good-value hostel in the centre of Grindelwald. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great buffet breakfasts. Wonderful views over the valley towards the Eiger. We were late booking so we had a top floor room with a shared bathroom - it was perfect and the swifts kept us entertained. If you can, I'd suggest one of the rooms with a balcony - a lovely place to eat your picnic tea.

We totally enjoyed the stay. Surreal location, 5 minutes walk to the city centre. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We have also been given a pass that gave us discounts for the local travel. Room was very clean and breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend. We also enjoyed the star watching and some star gazing photographs.

fantastic ,wonderful , valuable and perfect hostel! very 500meters from train station , 450 meters from first mountain cable station. it not so modern , but I like the nature style. The owner clean my room everyday, and every I feel a sense of warm and sweet! Breakfast is simple but enough . I spent 3 nights in the hostel , it would be my memory that worth to remember!
