Residents who make the whole building stink of fried fish. But that's about them, not the facility itself.

For the expensive venue like Zermatt, this facility provides good value for money. It is clean, with well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Settled in the green, peaceful part of the village, close to public bus and on walking distance from railway station.

Trash bag issue. I had to go to the store and buy a bag to toss my trash. It was the inconvenience of it all. I paid a high price for the place they should’ve provided the bag. I would have paid for it but the inconvenience of walking to the store to buy the orange bag was ridiculous. It should have been provided No screens on windows for air ventilation

The apartment was very warm and there appeared to be no air conditioning. We left the windows and doors open to get a cross breeze going. There is also a lot of construction going right next door to the property which made it noisy until about 6:00 pm. The signage to find the apartment is inadequate and needs to be improved.

The size of the apartment was very good, and the view of the Matterhorn was exceptional.

The check in process was a bit confusing. The automated check in system was not working when we arrived. Therefore, staff at another hotel needed to assist us to obtain keys to the room. Not ideal, but it worked out.

This apartment was a good size for 2 persons. Very clean and in a good location. Walkable to the train station and center of Zermatt. Apartment has a balcony and kitchenette, so convenient for longer stays. I think a nicely located property.

The hotel information does NOT mention the reception is located in another resort which takes another 10 minutes walking from the apartment. Carry luggages and go up and down is disturbing and exhausting.

The very high fees not included in price. You have to remove to an offsite place to despise of garbage. Only special bags can be used and they have to be purchased in a store in town. They could at least be supplied.

Very short decline walk to check in and then another 5 minute walk to apartment. Unless you are not physically able there is no reason to pay for the shuttle. view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was brilliant when the clouds cooperated.

Take care when you arrive they give you non contact checkin instructions and offer for transport from railway station. This cost equates to 50 AUD and it is literally a 10 Min walk from train station. The auto checkin wasn't working after been given the instructions so had to walk to another location to get key. Not happy should have told us this upfront to save back and forth with luggage. Lots of addional charges ie if want another towel ie 27 AUD. Had to also take own rubbish and if not that's another charge.

The instructions to remove your garbage are not clear. We had to look around for the public disposal area and took some time to sort out the garbage and dispose of it into the right bins. The apartment fees for disposal of garbage are too expensive.

The apartment is clean and modern. Kitchen utensils are complete. A great house to stay for leisure. The view from the balcony is excellent.

The hotel is located on elevated ground on slopping slope to hotel entrance which is slippery after snowing . It is risky for senior traveler to walk to the hotel .

Do not go there. Registration was a big fail. We had to walk far away to a different location to register after we arrived at the apartments and pay (a second time) the city taxes, because they say that the machine at the entrance the machine does not work and the machine charged us $70. We called from the apartments and the people who answered the phone were very rude and did not care. After that awful moment, we entered the apartment and the entire place smelled strongly of curry, the bathtub had hairs, as well as on the pillows and the bedspread. Every time we exited or entered the building we had to be cautious about the job site around us.

Received an email with access code the night before I arrived. When I arrived at the property there was a message on the screen to say self checkin not available to contact reception via an intercom. Another guest told us that we needed to go to the hotel reception to get the access card and not to use the intercom.There was no map to show where the hotel reception was located. Just a message that said 5 min away. As it was snowing it took about 10 min to find the hotel reception as it was the other side of the river. Then had to walk back to property. Disappointed that the email received the night before arrival did not say to go directly to hotel reception to check in in stead of an email giving me an access code for the accommodation.

Self check in machine malfunctioned so we had an issue with our final payment. Staff came to our door and was rather rude about it, though this was probably due to his limited English. It needs to be made much clearer that the apartments are part of the 4 star Alpen hotel complex and it really makes more sense to go check in there as it is only 5 minutes away.

Roomy apartment with a promised view of the Matterhorn. Each of the three bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Easy to make and eat meals.

there was a slop up to the apartment. so luggage is kinda problem to push up. It is also not suitable for elderly. Also, there is quite a distance to the main station/town area. have to take a bus or walk approx 20-25 minutes.
