Good location within walking distance of city centre. No street noise thanks to good quality windows. Great breakfast including healthy choices. Environment mindset. Valet parking service

We traveled as a couple with our 17 year old son. Deluxe room for the three of us (one double bed and a single bed) was rather small. Bed covers were too thick/warm for the season (we slept with just bed sheets, otherwise we would need A/C with lower temp., which would not be environmentally friendly

I like the location of this hotel (city centre) close to nice restaurants and one man (Spanish) at the reception was very nice and helpful. Room was clean too.

I did not like that bathroom was very poorly ventilated and after you take a short shower there is such a steam that mirror, walls and everything is in water. Even opening the doors to the bathroom did not help to get rid of the steam.

  • Jacobs Inn Dublin

    Dublin, Ireland

    Average review score: 8.3

The bed was pretty comfortable and the whole hostel was pretty nice. The room was good. The location was okay, there are some restaurants nearby

the bathroom could be better. There were no bath mat, which made the floor wet in the bathroom. (I was in a private room). The lift makes a noise every time it opens and that was annoying since my room was in front of it. I could hear people in other rooms around and the street was noisy. If you look for a quiet place, I don't recomend, but if you don't care about it is good for the price.

  • Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges

    Aherlow, Ireland

    Average review score: 8.2
    • Positive section of review

Good sized room with lovely big bath in the bathroom. Plenty of options for breakfast. Disposable cups in bedroom for tea/coffee

    • Negative section of review

The bar area was busy & noisy - we felt it was more like a restaurant than a bar where you could sit and chill. Kettle with tea/cofee etc was on a slide out tray underneath TV unit, the power lead going through the rear of the unit was a bit short so it made making drinks a little tricky, more so because the tray couldn't be fully pulled out as it then bumped in to the dressing table. Shower curtain rail could do with being a little further away from the bath - when the shower was on full, the draft caused the curtain to move inwards and stick to your body

  • Doolin Village Lodges

    Average review score: 8.7
    • Positive section of review

We loved how close the hotel was to the Doolin Hotel where we were attending a wedding.

    • Negative section of review

I have no complaints what so ever about the property itself. The only thing I would have loved is to be able to checkin and get ready for the wedding at the property and maybe a little later check out than 10am.
