Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, lounge, kitchen, bath rooms and communal areas were clean. The breakfast was nice. Location-wise, it is 1 minute from the Metro station. There is a good size supermarket which is also 1 minute from the gust house.

The sound proof wasn't great. It really depends who you share the floor with during the stay as the sound travels from the corridor when people access the toilet and bathrooms.

Casa do Barao is a little oasis in the busy city. The garden was a beautiful place to have breakfast, and breakfast was great. The added bonus was freshly baked cakes! The little extras and Joanna's hospitality made us feel very welcome and happy.

Great location. Lovely room. Comfortable, spacious & nicely designed, lots of cupboard space (and hangers!). Balcony & espresso machine. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very enjoyable stay.

The amenities are on a shelf under the basin in the bathroom. Not really a problem, just a bit odd.

Good location not far from the centre and quiet. Spacy comfortable rooms, everything clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped and big terrace. I would stay here again.

Loved the layout and position and a lovely breakfast. The staff were very communicative albeit remotely. We were also able to leave our luggage for the day.

Would have liked staff there when we arrived but when contacting them by phone we got immediate access 24/7 and hood English.

The breakfast was really good, had a lot of options and the space was nice and comfortable. The room was also good, considering the pictures that are shown.

The pool and the sauna is shared with a gym, and that means having a lot (lot!) of people using the pool all the time and also having classes there. The hotel says they have an indoor and an outdoor pool but there is only one pool, and the jacuzzi isn't really a jacuzzi.
