I think the only breakfast feedback is that some of the pastries didn’t stay fresh in the heat, but that is minor. Rooms could use a little updating. WiFi was a bit weak, which would be an issue if we needed to work, but we were taking a vacation from that too.

Breakfast was great! We liked that the rooms had a sense of privacy. Kids loved the pool and the cheeseburgers.

Pool is crowded in the afternoon, also should be bigger. Dont Like people drinking in the pool and bar in the pool. Only few sun umbrellas, not enough for that big hotel. Food is really expensive.

Location is the best. Nature is extraordinary. View of the Volcano is unbeatable.

Very little places to put clothes so we all had to live out of our suitcases as no dresser/drawers for folded clothes.

Beautiful property with amazing views of the volcano. Breakfast was exceptional. Wide variety of choices from omelettes to cereal to fruit and local specialties. Pool and hot springs were wonderful after a long day of exploring. Room was very nice with fridge, coffee maker, complimentary 4 water bottles and bathroom/shower supplies.

Breakfast was included but was the same everyday. A variety would be good. The food overall could be improved.

One staff member was rude and yelled at us from a distance because he thought we were throwing out garbage in the wrong place. It was embarrassing.

We had a weird party smell coming from our bathroom that made it a bit uncomfortable. The staff tried to address it with air fresheners, but it didn't fully address the problem.

Although we were not able to enjoy the view of the mountains because of the rain and crowd, the property itself was beautiful and cosy. The sound and view of the birds made it feel like you were staying in the rainforest.

Excellent location, beautiful resort, a large, clean and beautiful room with Arenal Volcano view, a lot of animals and birds, very good breakfast.

Beautiful grounds. Our room had a private garden and view of the volcano with our family nearby in the room next door. Delicious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and omelette bar. We loved the pool with a swim up bar (great swim area for my 1.5 year old son). They made fresh fruit drinks with whatever they had on hand (watermelon, passion fruit, even apple for my son). The shuttle driver took us to see a sloth on the property and let us look / take pics through his binoculars. Pura vida!

Hotel is dated Water only given on first day even thought each night costs the same, overpriced for what it is.

The bed was a bit soft for me.

I can't say enough good things about this resort. The property was gorgeous; I felt like I was staying in a botanical garden and bird sanctuary. Each duplex is private with a perfect view of the volcano. Both pools were beautiful. Quiet, relaxed and peaceful surroundings. I wish I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was also fantastic; so many food choices and all were delicious. An employee pointed out a toucan to me, got a pair of binoculars from his van, and video taped it on my phone through his binoculars.

Dinner service was a bit slow in the restaurant. It took over an hour to receive food. This isn’t a fault of the resort, but cabs to and from the resort to local venues are expensive. Ubers are unreliable in the area.

We enjoyed a spacious room with a beautiful porch and private landscaped gardens. The gardens are filled with wildlife. We saw humming birds everywhere and several tree frogs. We could hear monkeys as well. The layout of the resort makes each room feel very exclusive. The hot springs are great with a swim up bar and nice happy hour. Breakfast is an expansive buffet that is delicious.

Main Restaurant expensive, fancy looking but for this price the quality of the food was not good enough. Costa Rica has so good coffee but at breakfast you only get some american style coffee. For europeans and coffee lovers this is not ok :) some special coffee like espresso or cappuccino is not included in breakfast and costs 5$..
