The location is beautiful and although you are at the base of the volcano with nothing but nature surrounding you, it is the ideal location for exploring all La Fortuna and the Arenal area have to offer.

The lunch and dinner are both relatively pricey, and the options start to get a bit monotonous, especially because you're in a secluded location and you'd have to take a cab into town to get something else to eat.

The shower temperature was a bit temperamental- very difficult to achieve water that wasn't either freezing or scalding. We were also soured a tad while checking out when we learned that losing a towel card (a small laminated piece of paper) was a $20 charge. I would understand the charge for losing or not returning a towel but $20 for the card seems a bit excessive.

The bungalows and facilities were all clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept. The location was fantastic and had amazing views of Arenal and the grounds dense with lush vegetation. Breakfast was delicious and the wait staff were friendly.

The property and its surroundings are amazing. It was truly a great experience for - standalone bungalows give you so much privacy. The nature around it can be observed from the balcony - this was so enjoyable during our morning coffee time. The hotel staff was also so helpful and got us through one transport emergency.

I did not see a gym on site. It would be nice to have a gym.

The rooms were comfortable and the front patio facing toward the volcano was nice. Breakfast was good too and the stay were very friendly.

We thought the food and bar was very expensive. Coffee was provided in the room but no tea.

Our room was excellent and gardens outstanding. We had a new room on stilts with a double jazzi bath on the rear balcony surrounded by forest planting. All of our tours were good, the bird hike guide was amazing. Food on the whole was very good.

Great location close to everything, very nice hotel and cozy rooms. We liked the breakfast buffet it offered a lot of choices.

The food was ok but didn’t match the attention to details invested in the architecture and landscape.

We really enjoyed this beautiful bungalow with two terraces in the middle of nature. Although the resort is quite big, we had all the intimacy while admiring beautiful plants, birds and butterflies. The complimentary coffee in the room was very good.

The noise from behind 102 chalet but reception did get it stopped twice.

Location! The brand new hot spring huge swimming pool! Amazing breakfast. Yoga platform. Clear view of volcano 🌋 and so many birds.

1) You need to redeem your towels for the pool with the tickets provided by the reception at check-in, which I think is a bit redundant. Maybe the towels can be directly placed in the hotel room? 2) During our stay it rained on and off. It would be better if there were umbrellas at our disposal. Other than that it was all ok.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of the jungle/forest. We amazed at the exotic birds walking around freely and listened to them singing.

What an incredible find! Our two-night stay felt too short. The bungalow was very clean and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was delightful, complemented by exemplary service. Additionally, we truly enjoyed the pool area, which offered breathtaking views of the volcano. The location struck the perfect balance: secluded enough for peace, yet only a short drive to La Fortuna. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The place is beautiful just Dani just to walk around and see how lovely they do there with the gardening and everything and the volcano is literally next to you. The room is beautifully set up with lots of love. The stuff it’s just the best they helped us a lot. We can say thank you enough . Can’t wait to visit with my daughters

Not much. It was expensive by Costa Rican standards, but didn’t seem overpriced given the view. The rooms could have felt more “high-end” for the price, but that is quibbling. It is well off the main road, making getting into town tricky if you don’t have a car. (We found Uber to be cheap and reliable in the area.) No hot springs, but we got a day pass at a nearby resort to enjoy those.

Beautiful property, helpful staff. Great view of the volcano, and howler moneys to see and hear. All around great stay. Even after the stay ended, when I realized I had forgotten some expensive headphones in my room, the hotel staff had them sent to the next stop on my trip. I was impressed!
