How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I loved everything - especially the hospitality made a significant difference in my experience.
The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. The variety and quality of the food were impressive (breakfast is included in the price - and what a great service!). The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and attended with big smiles to my needs. After hour check-in process was seamless for my late arrival. 7 min drive to the airport made my layover stress-free and smooth. I definitely return on my next trip thru Munich.

It was a perfect little hotel to stay to be close to the airport. The breakfast was good. The room was simple but clean. They had an honor system for beverages.

I loved the delicious breakfast options & they are presented beautifully. You can ask for as much or as little as you want. The staff was amazingly nice and hard working. We thought the beds were so comfortable, too bad we were only there for one night because of a flight layover.

We arrived after the front desk was closed. While trying to charge all our devices, I tripped the circuit breaker. Since there was nobody at the desk, I called the emergency phone number at the front desk. Nobody answered. Now it wasn’t a big deal for us, we just used our phones and went to bed early but if there was a significant problem that needed attention, there needs to be a more reliable way to get some assistance
The property was close to the airport but still in a rural setting. You could hear the rooster in the morning. We had an overnight layover so it was perfect. The place was super clean and had a modern styling. The bed was very comfortable. We love the double duvets in Germany. We had breakfast and the food was terrific. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Honestly, there was nothing that this hotel left me desiring.
Everything was great! The room was spacious, clean, up to date, and it even had floor heaters in the bathroom and entryway! Even with being near the airport, the room was extremely quiet with the windows closed. There was ample free parking, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast options were ample and delicious!

The photos of the hotel on booking.com was mainly showing therme erding which we consider it misleading. The hotel actually is 15 minutes away from the Therme and they offer only 2 euros voucher for day pass which is around 60 euros.

Nothing to say. Our stay was great.
The location is situated in a small vilage near Munich airport. You have free parking and the guest is verry explicit in making your check in easy and simple. The room was big enough for us - 2 adults and 2 children. The breakfast was a la carte and you could chose from many options and was good. The room was clean and quiet even if is close to the airport.

The room was rather small for 4 people but is ok for a one-night stay.
Breakfast was lovely and the staff was very kind and useful. Also, they served gluten-free bread upon request.

The hotel is in the flight path of the Munich airport so you could hear some of the jets landing in the early evening but it was not a problem later, when it was time to sleep. There were not any options for restaurants near the hotel.
I arrived after the reception desk was closed. They had my electronic key in an envelope pinned to a bulletin board outside the entrance. I was able to fill out the registration and leave on the front desk. The room was spacious and extremely clean. At breakfast (included in the price) you had a choice of five or six preset plates to choose from. depending on your dietary needs. The women who attended to the guests were very attentive to your need. The preset menu certainly offered enough to eat. I really appreciate that the room included a desk and a reading lamp to comfortably work. A big advantage to staying at the Claro Garni was the ample free parking and the proximity to the airport. for turning in my rental car.

The property is quite isolated. It sits in a small village and there are a limited number of facilities and you would definitely need a car if you intended to explore. 
The property was exceptionally clean, well presented and very comfortable. It was also extremely convenient for Munich airport.

It said in my booking that breakfast was included but the breakfast is not free. They don't have a shuttle to the airport. Taxi costs about 50 euro to get to Munich airport. There is no one at check in if you're arriving later in a day. They did have an envelope for us at the front door.
