Wonderful stay in pickalabatros Dana beach, can stay here for 1 month with all activities no need to go out of resort, good food and nice people

Great hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Excellent service. The resort is big, yet it did not feel crowded or overwhelming. We liked the many swimming pool options. The beach was nice too. The personal makes sure that guests have a good time at any time of the day. It starts with the reception to waiters, cooks, gardeners that were constantly making sure all flower beds and plants were watered and taken care of to the cleaning team that left no corner untouched. Everyone seemed to be working to provide the best possible experience. All of this with a smile. They succeeded. We really enjoyed our time. We would pick the Dana Beach resort again, for sure.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel! Our rooms, swimming pools, the beach, all the restaurants and the food - all was amazing. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Pools are warm. Kids liked all the aqua park rides. Wifi in rooms was good enough for calls and video. SPA was really nice, special thanks to Nadir. We really enjoyed a sea journey on a boat with glass floor and snorkeling around coral reefs (you can book it on the beach). The Columbus cafe is a very nice place for a cap of coffee and board games (bring your own). Overall, the hotel is great. It is clean, all personal is polite and welcoming, most speak English, German and Russian. We highly recommend it.

Wifi was extremely unreliable, spotty and just didn't work most of the time, which was a bummer for a group with no local cellular service, and relied heavily on wifi to communicate inside the resort. A lot of smokers around, which we really had an issue with around the kids. I know this is a big ask, but please consider banning smoking in some areas, especially in the playground and kids pool.

Great for families! Children aqua pool was great, and the presence of a large playground, and a few scattered swing sets was more than welcome for me with my little kids. They also enjoyed the kids club, which has a heated indoor pool for when it gets too hot or windy outside. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I don't think we've met any group of staff more willing to do anything to help us out and make our stay more enjoyable! Mr. Elkassem and Eleryn at the reception desk went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Everything. All the aspects are perfect. The room is too spacious with an amazing quite sea view which made our stay so enjoyable. The food and its variety is beyond amazing. The night shows and the mini disco for kids was very entertaining. The staff is so friendly , receptionists Ahmed el eryan and mahmoud knows how to delight their customers on arrival and departure. Thanks to the whole team and would definitely stay at Dana beach every-time i go to hurghada.

What we found most annoying were life guards. "Rules" of the aqua park make no sense, but they are implemented either too stictly, or inconsistent. For example, it is not allowed to go on a slide with any accessories (watches and jewlery included). Also, the pool at the slides is wide, and has warmer water. As a family, we had to split for slides and one day we were alowed to swim with kids in the pool (on the other side of the slides, very safely and far enough from the slides' exits), the next we were asked to go out and were banned even from sitting on the stairs. Life guards are unpleasant (with few exceptions!) and killed the fun. We are adults, parents and have been to fairly enough aquaparks in our lives to know when things go too far. Same was at the beach - swimming is not allowed after 5PM (sunset) and nothing is left to a guests' own responsibility. Also, the beach is bad - water is murky, no visibility, full of garbage (plastic bottles, torn pvc bags, etc.). No immediate snorkelling options. The resort lacks facilities right next to the pools. That is especially inconvenient when travelling with kids. We missed more options for toilet and a snack bar, which should be closer to the pools and kids areas. Working hours of kids club did not work for our needs. We would prefer it being open during the peek sun-time (11h - 15h), to hide, but still have fun. Some of the equipment at the gym needs to be fixed or completely changed. No non-smoking zones anywhere outside - the terraces of restaurants and bars, at the beach, around the swimming pools (kids included)... there was someone puffing into our kids at all times. Food selection could be more diverse, but ok... no one is left hungry.

The layout of the complex is very convenient. Everything is close to reach, and to get to the beach there's a shuttle boat which is great, both practical for families, and romantic for couples. The resort has everything one needs. The staff at the reception, in the restaurants and for the room service is great - very kind and helpful. Kids club has an indoor pool for kids. In general, there are many options for entertainment and animation program is fun.

This is the fifth visit and it will not be the last. The reception staff are all very friendly and very respectful, especially Mr. Mohamed and Mr. Abdel Rahman. They offered a room upgrade for free, and when I asked them for a late checkout, they offered it for free The resort, as usual, is beautiful and clean, and the Aqua Park games were added, which was very nice

It was sooooo clean and food was great. Ashraf made check in easy and Ahmed made checkout smooth. Thank you both. Had the most amazing 8 days in Pickalbatross Dana beach resort. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, and when you have a 1 year old, it really does ease the stress. We arrived late, Ashraf at reception recieved us, told us to go grab some dinner whilst he kindly sorted all the paperwork out. We had a lovely 2 bedroom family apartment and it really felt like home. I have to say, this place is absolutely spotless. They're constantly cleaning. The food also was delicious, I honestly cannot fault it. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from hence why we didn't really need to leave the resort, everything we needed, we had at the resort. Accessibility is great, we have a pram and there were ramps and lifts everywhere so we never got stuck, we were able to get to all the places Dana beach had to offer. Highly recommend this hotel, and we are definitely coming back here again next year!

No, nothing!

Not to be missed! Dana Beach is a large hotel but is well kept, lovely rooms, several swimming pools, a beach and numerous staff to look after you. A choice of five hotels means you have choices throughout your stay. The food was good, and in one restaurant the fish was on ice for you to choose to be cooked in front of you. How good is that 👍. I was greeted on my arrival by Mohamed who was polite and very helpful. The unique thing about Dana Beach is the river that runs through the site with boats that shuttle you around lol. Outside the hotel, across the road, are numerous shops to do some shopping.
