“We arrived to a warm welcome, despite arriving fairly late at night, having picked this for a one-night stay in northern Spain, near the French border, for our onward journey from Portugal to the UK. Room service was good/quick/delivered with a smile. The bed was comfy, and we had a bath and good shower (immediate hot water and great water pressure) in our junior suite. Very nice scenery, and I enjoyed sipping my coffee in the morning, sat on the wide windowsill, listening to the morning bird-song and looking at the misty mountains, through the trees. The breakfast was nice; eggs & bacon freshly cooked, with continental selection. I thought the staff were superb, both the evening shift, and breakfast shift. Check in and check out was easy enough.”
