Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe closest pool to the hotel was really run down, weeds growing from most tiles, broken umbrellas and sunbeds. Furthest pool & pool area in similar state. The rooms are large, but the bedroom was window-less and felt a little outdated. The double bed was clearly 2 singles pushed together, as one of them sunk about 30cm below the other, albeit, fairly comfortable. I really feel like with a bit of investment, this place could be incredible.
We used Casal Santa Eulalia as a base to explore Mallorca from. Firstly, parking is great - large space, no issues at all. The building itself is magnificent. Staff, especially at dinner/breakfast were excellent. The food in the evening is a set, 3 course menu which changes daily. We found the food to be one of the highlights of this hotel. Breakfast was also superb - lots of choice and good coffee. The courtyard was stunning and gets the sun for the majority of the afternoon.

United KingdomThere is nothing that we did not like about this lovely hotel.
Casal Santa Eulalia is a beautiful hotel in a lovely rural setting. The staff are welcoming and they provide exceptional service. The hotel, pool areas and grounds are immaculate. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely little balcony off the sitting room area. The rooms are cleaned daily. The food is delicious. There is a wide choice of food served buffet style for breakfast, plus the chef will accommodate any individual requests, for example omelettes. Dinner is served outside on the terrace beneath the trees (weather permitting !) There is 24 hour room service and a member of staff pops down to the pool areas at regular intervals throughout the day to ask if you would like drinks and/ or food. My husband would recommend the Club sandwich ! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of all inclusive hotels and seaside resorts, Casal Santa Eulalia is definitely the place for you !

United KingdomThe beds were uncomfortable, we both slept on the very edges of the bed because the mattress was a little better there. Another family had the same experience with their bed. The room decor also looked outdated but it was totally fine.
The venue is absolutely stunning and has a wonderful and very big outside with two (unheated) outside pools. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and the staff are super nice and helpful. The hotel has pretty much everything you would need: Inside and outside seating for the restaurants, a little bar, the outside pools, towels, a spa/gym with a heated inside spa pool. Our room was huge and even had a little outside terrace with a nice view, two deckchairs and a a parasol. We really enjoyed our stay there!

AustriaIt would be better to add side light to the beds and change the beds in some rooms.
Carefully maintained building in an olive garden. The atmosphere is amazing, for those who can appreciate it, of course. Great staff and very good breakfast. We have unforgettable impressions.

GermanyInteriors in the rooms are a bit older and easier made as in the hotel itself but still feels good.
We were already 3rd time in this hotel and we would come again. Friendly and helpful personal first of all, cozy interiors, beautiful inside yard, tasty breakfast. Perfect for 2–4 nights to explore that side of the island.

United KingdomThe rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Palma de Mallorca. We absolutely loved every meal we had at the hotel. From breakfast to bbq dinners and snacks at the bar for lunch.

SwitzerlandAll is good but I find the price for baby cot (12eur/night) too high considering that usually most hotels offer it for free. Outside restaurant is next to main road so it can get a bit loud from traffic noise
Beautiful old monastery with spacious rooms! Amazing breakfast and super helpful stuff who even looked after our baby monitor so we can go and enjoy the dinner by the pool (out of reach for baby monitor)

Great food. Very quiet. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My daughter has an ear infection from our previous stay at a villa the week before and they organised for the doctor to come to the hotel. He was also excellent and very efficient. The main pool is stunning, a few minutes walk from the main hotel, built in an old quarry, swifts came flying past and would drink from the water, which was wonderful to watch. Very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves a lot.

SpainThe hotel restaurant for dinner was delicious and in such a beautiful location but the service can be quite slow, so patience is needed.
Everything, the location, the fact it is a beautiful renovated 13th century monestary turned hotel, the staff were great, huge room, clean and such a wonderful experience.

NetherlandsThe only minus was the AC in the room. Some nights it just stopped cooling and we had to open the windows. There is a B road not far away and that was annoying. Luckily we had earplugs for a sound sleep. I expect them to fix the problem.
This Finca hotel is more like a 5 star hotel than 5 star hotels I have stayed in. The grounds are very well kept. Several pools. Bath towels everywhere. Very good restaurant. Next time we will book half-board. Not necessary to eat out. Not for the quality, nor the price. Lovely terrace for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was very extensive. A great spread of all types of food. Lots of fruits, as well. All types of cheeses and sausages. Many pastries. Too much to choose. Warning: danger of over-eating!
