Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel itself it’s big, but it looks like the facilities need to be updated. I booked a double room and they weren’t aware (they said I was lucky to have a double room when, in fact, that’s what I have paid for???) The room they gave me had the TV broken. It was on the Hawaii building which has no concierge, no reception, just rooms and a lift that has a hole in the wall (it’s really old) I complained about having a broken TV in my room and then they changed me to another room in the same old building and with two single beds , when in my booking I specified I wanted a double room as I needed comfort . The overall experience with the rooms was really bad, the small shop was meant to be open until 9:30 but when I came down at 9 it was shut down. Will not come back again, and I don’t recommend, for this price you can get better new and updated rooms in new buildings.
The staff was nice

United KingdomLack of vegetarian options, wish there was some sort of mini fridge in the room and we did have a couple of nights that were a bit noisy due to other guests coming back from a night out but all in all it wasn’t that bad at all.
Great location to the beach, always a variety for the buffet restaurant (however not the most amazing vegetarian options so beware of this), the evening pizza bar was amazing and it was such great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, and the cleaners came in everyday as well.

PolandEverything else. Check in was 47 minutes long. There are only 4 people in reception for check ins, check outs, calls and everything. Why can’t hotel this big hire more workers, this place needs at least 10. Poor workers tried their best to be fast and helpful. I felt really bad for them, when I was finally done with check in, there were at least 30 people behind me… Rooms are dirty(especially the floor), they do not provide toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, hair dryer, fridge, kettle or any cutlery. Also no electricity. Walls are super thin, I could hear my neighbors talking 7 minutes to beach by feet I do not recommend this hotel, I really regretted coming here
It’s close to the beach. Workers are also nice and helpful

United StatesThe hotel room had all of the basics you could have needed. Nice and clean with plenty of space. Considering we spent most of our time outside of the room, it fulfilled everything we needed as a place to lay our heads for the night. I would say it was a good experience for the price we paid!

IrelandStayed for 10 days and would not recommend unless you were really stuck for somewhere to stay. The hotel has around 5 or 6 buildings with only 2 of them being on the main complex (by the pool and restaurant) when we arrived we were sent to the Rio building which you had to cross two roads to get to, the AC did not work in the room and the view was of a run down abandoned building. I asked for my room to be swapped as I didn’t fancy walking across two roads everyday just to get to the pool. it became apparent that they sent the younger people to the further away buildings as they must assume they’re there for a party holiday and wouldn’t care. Most staff were stand offish with an attitude and were generally just unhelpful and rude. (Carl was the only employee who was friendly and helpful). The price for the all inclusive was no way worth what you got at all. You were limited to 6 drinks a day which you could only have 3 at lunch and 3 at dinner, which I found out was unfortunately the law of the area so not the hotels fault but not ideal. The food was very very poor and it seemed to be the exact same meal everyday. There was also no entertainment what so ever, they would play the same music every night as entertainment. I also tried contacting the hotel twice through email before my stay and got no reply, but they seem to be able to reply to every bad review.
Some pros was that the hotel wasn’t too far from the airport and was in a good location close to a lot of bars and restaurants and about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. They also had great security.

GermanyEverything looks old and not properly taken care of. The worst part is the staff… most of them students who dont have the training to attend clients and sometimes forget they cant act certain ways towards the clients.
Location was perfect next to supermarkets, kebabs, beach and night life. The hotel itself is very big and has lots of amenities. Nevertheless, the hotel needs an update cuz everything looks old.

SloveniaThis has by far been THE WORST experience I ever had in my life. Not sure how they got 3 stars, but I had better experiences in 2-star hotels. Totally not worth the price and definitely don't recommend it to anyone! ROOM: The room was a complete disaster. It wasn't cleaned properly, you could find hair and i don't know what from the previous guests. The bed was so uncomfortable that every hostel you can find will have a better one. The room in general was old and barely suitable. AC was barely working, and was working so loud it was impossible to have it on during the night. Furthermore, as this was the room at the end and had a double outer wall, it really got heated up and it was impossible to cool it down. The average temperature even with AC on was over 25°C. The worst things were acoustics. Windows apparently are so old that they don't isolate any sounds. So even with the window closed, I was constantly being awakened in the middle of the night by drunk people and busses, that were parking in front of the hotel. When the bus was standing there the whole room was vibrating. So in 2 weeks, I didn't get a single night of proper sleep!! STAFF: Extremely rude and unpolite staff. Especially receptionists of color were next-level horror stories. Frustrated men who were behaving like they're alfa and omega, and you're nothing there. Younger people working in the restaurant were really pleasant, but some of the senior workers there were also super rude. SECURITY: I understand the need for security, but this was too much. Security guards in vests and batons, walk around the premises and behave like local sheriffs. One day they were even "molesting" and partly beating around a 20-year-old kid in front of the entrance. Instead of giving a sense of security, they really gave a sense that something is wrong with that place that requires such grunts there. FOOD: Nothing special, often bland, the same food was repeated too often.
Nothing to like!

GermanyVery bad rooms and not as in the pictures. They deceived me and gave me a room other than the one in the picture. The air conditioner was not working and the humidity was very high. The hotel staff was not friendly at all and did not help at all. They asked me to pay an extra amount to give me a better room.
