There is nothing to complain.

The hotel location is excellent for a walk tour in Bilbao. The staff is very nice and helpful and give very good recommendations. The room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was with reasonable variety and portion.

Bad quality/ price. Room were not refresh, scandal quality for the bathroom. Walls from paper, you could hear person breathing from other side. Tv big like a tablet.Breakfast like fast food in plastic, including the milk. The owner cares about the money and not the guest and you can feel it from entrance. Pictures don’t show the reality (owner bathroom was totally different from the picture)

Even though I had booked non-smoking room, I noticed that the smelled strongly of nicotine. This fact was a real imposition for a guest. It is completely incomprehensible to me why smoking in the room is tolerated by the hotel management. In addition, there were no signs or stickers in the room and other places in the hotel that smoking is prohibited. As other guests previously mentioned, the walls of the rooms are too thin; you can hear every noise from the next door.

Nothing about our hotel whatsoever but our booking ref.59116689 for our taxi failed to turn up for our transit to the airport on Tuesday 17th October even though I sent several emails seeking help. For this I will be seeking a refund.

The staff, including reception staff and cleaning staff were pleasant and exceptionally helpful. My husband and I would stay there again at a heartbeat.

The rooms are very dark, you need light even during the day, very old and a little dirty, the bathroom door is very hard to open and a few times I thought I was gonna be locked. The breakfast is poor, only a few options. Walls are quite thin and you can hear everything around you. Only one small window, situated in the corner behind a wall, basically not giving any light. No elevator and steep stairs.

Staff was mean and not friendly The room was smelly with a window to the inner ventilation shaft which smelled even worse For the price of breakfast it is better to go outside to eat, coffee if you can call it coffee, it was more like a tar with a nasty aftertaste.

DONT GO HERE if you want a normal and clean stay. The hotel looks clean in the lobby, but it all changes when you enter the room. There were multiple dirty boogers on the walls and there was blood on the shower curtain. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and not without the sound of a MG-42 machine gun on full auto. And if you closed the door fast to reduce that sound, big piles of black dust would fall out of the ceiling and into the dirty toilet because they apparently never clean that. Also, it appears that the walls between the rooms are made from thin paper, since we could hear and follow the conversation our neighbors were having. Unfortunately enough we didn’t speak their language so we couldn’t talk back. It also seems to be normal to run around the hotel with a group of people and shout and slam doors at 2 am. It didn’t seem like the hotel staff did anything about this since it took a long time before all the sounds stopped. The breakfast was even worse. You would expect to get a good and healthy breakfast after such a crappy night, but what they offer is below all standards. The way the bread was layed out was very unhygienic since you have to open the bag yourself and therefore it’s impossible to know who touched it before you. They stalled everything out on a counter, but the counter also was very dirty and sticky. Apart from the bread, they only had cookies and little chocolate cakes and some serial. It would’ve been a better idea to go to the supermarket and buy a whole bread for like 1/3th of the money we spent on breakfast. We stayed here for the price of €150 for 1 night, so we had the right to expect way more than this. I’ve wasted money before in my life on a lot of stupid things, but this is by far the worst way to spend €150. I would’ve had more fun if I bought something breakable for €150 and threw it off a cliff.

The distance to the city centre is nice, but I'd rather pay for a expensive cab and sleep in a hotel in Paris.
