There was nothing we didn't like! Just a note though, the wifi for some reason didn't work for me (apple user) but worked form my partner (android) but this did not change the way how we felt about the place.

The room is beautiful, even better in real than on the pictures! I fell in love with the look and decor and warm welcoming atmosphere immediately as we stepped in. Easy and quick communication with the host, she was lovely! Delicious breakfast delivered to your room at a preferred time. I only wish we stayed longer and I definitely would like to come back in the future.

Nothing. But if you're cycling remember to shop before you arrive.

Beautifully decorated studio, well equipped with good functioning air conditioning and new fridge and induction hob. Wonderful large bathroom, shower and spa bath. Quiet area just off the Canal du Midi cycle track. We had a lovely relaxing stay as a break on our cycling trip and then completed the cycle route to Sete returning back here on the train. Will be staying again.

Only slightly better directions or GPS coordinates, it was not so easy to find as there are so many rentals in the area.

Very friendly and helpful host. The apartment had a private entrance with a gate, so we felt very secure with our car and belongings there. Well-equipped apartment, we wished we could have stayed longer! Very quiet and peaceful space close to Bedoin.

Small things: some of the appliances were old e.g. the dishwasher; and I couldn’t find the plug for the kitchen sink.

It is in a beautiful setting; was spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds we’re comfortable and the shower was great. Thanks to the team for finding my dossier of papers!

It's a little remote, fine if arriving by car, less good if you're on foot (!)

The facilities and accommodation were excellent. We used the swimming pool straightaway, as we were on a walking holiday and arrived hot and tired. The room and it's bathroom were lovely, and we made ourselves a meal in the little, but well appointed kitchen. It's a lovely property, adjacent to the Canal du Midi. (And with very friendly cats!)

Loft situated bed gets quite warm in summer, although naturally nothing the hosts can help. There’s an extra fan in the loft (great help) and running the AC late in the evening helps as well. Would be even better with an EV-charger, which the owner is considering. Could use some more soap and cleaning supplies to make life even easier.

Quiet location just outside Béziers, fine for exploring the region by own transportation. Great large outdoor terrace (wear long clothes against summer moskitoes), bed ok, stacked with basic amenities. The pool looked great, although we didn’t use it. The entry road is a bit rocky, but still good enough for a lower clearance car, with private parking in front of the apartment complex.

La Gourgasse Vieille is a wonderfully rural yet accessible historic house on the Canal du Midi near Béziers. Lovingly renovated it made for a great stop over, well worth the brief detour from the A9 motorway. Stephanie greeted us with such a warm welcome & although we were borderline for the suitably large pool at the end of the day, thankfully we were welcomed to have a swim. We stayed in the extremely spacious self contained two-bedroom apartment which has a very large terrace, living room, bathroom, kitchen, complete with washing machine. (on the right of the booking photo as you look at it). Breakfast is available should you wish for this provision. It's such a beautiful old house & would make a great base for a longer family stay to explore the area. Although it might initially be a little tricky to find Stephanie was available onsite, online & by phone with clear instructions. (do not cross the canal bridge) We're always delighted to find independently owned businesses on our travels & this was a lovely spot.
