“Location was excellent for us - looking to do day walks in local area. Room was excellent with huge bath - a big reward after many miles each day as now in my late 60's. Breakfast was superb - we only needed the 'Small Breakfast' which was great quality, proper bacon and everything tasted how it should! The 'big breakfast' read as twice the size and even though I have big appetite would have really taken some eating !! - Good Luck. Evening meals were also good. Proper tasting Burger - good portions - very friendly staff. Having a pair of binoculars in the room to view the wildlife from the window was a real nice touch even though tide was out most the time we were using room. Overall an excellent place to stay and we felt lucky to have been able to book 1 of only 2 rooms here. Thank You.”
“This place is a gem! I booked it purely for location as we were attending an event at HMS Raleigh. I would definitely stay again, and I would highly recommend it. The staff are all super friendly, the room had an amazing view and the food was excellent. One of our party has ceoliac and highly sensitive, particularly with cross contamination. They were spoilt for choice on the menu, and our server, Alex, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even if you don't stay, go for the food !!
The room was very spacious with a lovely ensuite with a decent sized bathtub. A little extra touch was the binoculars on the window seat. Well worth it”
