Room had dead insects on the windowsill. Plus a hole in the sheet of one of the beds. My son is in a wheel chair and found it hard getting from and to the hotel to the car park, as vans where parked half on the road and half on the pavement. This ment I had to go on the road. Also work vans parked in the disabled bays, with no badge on. I do feel for what I paid it was about right. I also jammed my finger in the doors in the hall way as it was difficult pushing a wheel chair through them, so had to go in front, hence jamming my finger between the door and coving. I would return and stay again.

Very spacious room (disabled room on 2nd floor). Right for mine and my sons needs. Reception staff very friendly, and helpful. The reason I was staying at the hotel was because it was my mother's funeral and so need a disabled room for my son who is brain damaged due to and accident 2 yrs ago. I managed very well in the room with all his needs. If ever I had to use a hotel in Coventry again I would definitely look at the prices of the hotel to stay there again. Thank you.

The bed kept squeaking and no plug socket by bed. The bathroom felt modern but felt like the room itself just had left over furniture dumped in.

Potholes on way in are bonkers Tv didn’t work Shower didn’t work ( non existent) Bath dirty Staff seemed adamant I hadn’t paid dispite me showing them the receipt, To there credit got a free breakfast after brining all this up.

Was waiting to at the reception for while in the evening to check in. No staff at the desk until a person shouted anyone there! One staff came from the back room.

The bathroom window was rusty and difficult to close. The bedroom window was open and I was unable to close it - not very safe as the room was on the ground floor! The toilet roll holder needs to be reattached. In this current age, not having free access to wi-fi is poor. The main bar was poorly stocked - no tonic water and, as fridges were not working, there was no cold wine, champagne, Prosecco, etc. this was unacceptable. As I had to leave at 6:30 a.m., I was not able to enjoy breakfast. No alternative was offered - even when I asked for a simple bacon sandwich or toast.

My room was comfortable and very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities were good. Staff were excellent!

Door key cards were a royal pain. Every day that i returned, i would have to go all the way back down to reception to get it reprogrammed. One day they tried to say i wasn't in the room and that i had the wrong information. At this point i had been in the room 2 nights and all my stuff was in there. Eventually sorted it out, which takes me back to day 1 and check in. The check in was busy and took about 30 mins to get to the desk. In the time i was waiting 3 different people had been given keys to rooms, but came back down as there were people already in them. Wanted extra payment to use the pool and spa facilities, this isn't stated at the time of booking

Breakfast was ok. Fried bread was inedible due to being left under the heat lamp. Nice selection of cooked. Minimal pastries to choose from. Not much choice of fruit and the fruit that was on offer had seen better days. Had a superior double room. Was nice. Stayed 3 nights but no room tidy or freshen up.

Length of waiting around late in the evening to check-in. Room not ready due to miscommunication with Booking.com. Staff toing and froing but not much happening. Old style aluminium frame windows with mould in corners. No follow up on VAT receipt.

The hallways, stairs and lift were very tired looking, scuffs all over the walls, chewing gum over the handrail in the lift as well as damage to the panels, very dirty. The hotel room itself was okay, basic looking furniture but was clean, the mattress was ‘roll together’ so we got up each morning with stiff backs. I think the room may have been recently painted as there were paint splodges on the carpet. The place looks really tired and looks like it needs some updating,

The garden was lovely, looked very pretty, the staff were friendly at reception.

Doors banging late at night and early in the morning. We were not informed before we arrived at the hotel that there were renovations going on in the hotel. So drilling and banging started just after 8:00 in the morning. So, there was no chance of a lay in.

Clean and nice size room. Comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom with hot water. Great location for Birmingham NEC. Near to fuel garage & restaurants. Good breakfast.

Property is looking rundown. Rooms could do with a major overhaul including the bathrooms. Locking mechanisms on room door was not working properly.

The carvery wasn’t to good had a choice of 2 vegetables one I didn’t like and the gravy was so runny no thickness to it and not the best choice of condiments to go with it! The sauna wasn’t working but still got charged same price and the breakfast was nice if your not a vegetarian. Staff at reception wasn’t very friendly

The room was lovely very clean and comfortable, and the spa was nice and the bar area and eating area was set out nice
