One of the staff at the evening meal virtually threw us out of the restaurant at 22:10, as he needed to clean up

Breakfast very basic, but then my food choices are different at home. Not such a bad thing, I just eat differently.

My room ( 15 ) looked over the valley and towards the welsh mountains, was even more beautiful when snow was on the hills, lovely room , clean and plenty of tea and coffee .

From the exterior I was hoping it would be cosy, with comfy seating and nice lighting. It was more like a transport hotel, though perhaps that’s its main function. Room well appointed. Shower very weak. Noisy folks above woke us on their night visit to the toilet.

Ceiling is thin so could hear the person upstairs when the walked about. Fortunately they didn't move round too much.

Staff were all excellent and very helpful. Evening dinner was very tasty and plenty of it. Good sized room with views across the garden. Plenty of free parking

No hot water when we arrived after a 6 hour trip. Workman in room next door were working outside our widows with work bench, no net curtains, so not much privacy. Lights not always coming on in corridors late at night and had to use phone.

Had to ask for assistance to gain access to room, lock rather difficult to deal with.

Great breakfast and Evening meal. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Room great, comfy bed with lovely soft bedlinen.

Property (interior) was dated and didn’t match photos on website. Our room was very small and bathroom needed updating. Waitresses at breakfast were dressed very casual (trainers/leggings) maybe a simple uniform would be nice.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, plenty of choice.

Steep staircase to Penthouse which was tough for my mum, but we managed. An additional light half- way down stairs would be useful? No bedsides or lamps in twin room? A second bathroom would be good, but the value for money was spot on.

The views were stunning!!! The Penthouse was spotless, well- equipped and spacious. The staff were very helpful. Food was excellent.

Arrived back after long day at wedding, on own & car park unlit. One light on in Hotel doorway & none inside Hotel itself. Had to fumble around in hotel reception to put phone light on to find my way to my corridor, where auto light came on.

Booked a kingsize room but the bed was more like a double. The bathroom and shower was very old fashioned with a tiny shower head which wasn’t great.

Lovely location, restaurant was fantastic we had great food. Great staff.

The buffet breakfast was quite basic and rather unimaginative and the breakfast room was quite tight for space when busy. Wifi was only available in the bedrooms rather than the common areas.

The cooked breakfast was ok. The location was good with beautiful views of surrounding countryside. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was a bit odd. You could have the Continental breakfast. But if you wanted the full English you had to pay for both? You could not pay for it as a single breakfast? And at £12.50 for 1 sausage. 1 slice of bacon a small breakfast not good value at all.
