How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

breakfast. The exact same breakfast over my 7 day stay. Not even one single thing changed. I think only English people like beans for breakfast 😢
I liked Everything except breakfast. Great location, great rooms, everything super clean, nice staff, room service from the Italian restaurant is delicious.

Breakfast can be better and more space be added to handle the rush during breakfast hours.
The suite was good for a small family. The kitchen served the purpose and is well equipped.

The fact that the residence does not have a parking, It was not helpful. We struggled to park and was not easy to pay online.
I like the room space and all that was provided in the room (kitchen contained everything). The location was fabulous. We had public transfer near by. The breakfast was tasty with lots of variety of options.

The level of customer service was challenging at times. I needed a later check out because my family was staying behind while I went on a business call and I had to struggle to get it extended by an hour. Also they under no circumstances would check us in early. Although Kensington is beautiful it is far from city center so we had to take a LOT of cabs because the staff would not help us with public transit AT ALL.
The property was clean and the rooms were spacious. We arrived very early in the morning and the porter was amazing. I love that they held our luggage while we were sight seeing.

Quite far away from tourist areas in London. Dated interiors.

There was dust on the floor when we first got in later cleaned , the lobby was a bit too noisy and the bed was very close to the door.
Good location, nice staff, shower room, good facilities, free laundry and gym.

The sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest & only had one pillow. Could be improved.
All staff were lovely but the lady on reception called Orked (sorry if I miss spelled it) was delightful! She was so friendly and professional, she really deserves some praise. My son is extremely shy but seemed to gravitate to her warm nature. She’s a real asset to any employer!

Roberto managed the breakfast excellently. The mattress and pillows were great! However it was further away from London attractions than what was described on booking.com

The staff was extremely friendly, with Roberto, the F&B Manager, being especially attentive and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, offering great options for the hotel's class. Rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided.We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bed is right next to the toilet. This is very disturbing.

Very basic breakfast and same dishes everyday . We stayed for 6 days but didn’t bother to have breakfast after 3 days. Both Elevators are poorly maintained and not enough to service this size hotel
A decent size room with comfortable sofabed . Good location within walking distance to Earls court , Gloucester road and high street Kensington. Good gym and laundry facilities. Very clean property and friendly staff

Main bedroom is small. But the overall room gives enough space for a “sight seeing not in the hotel all day hotel” type of trip.
GREAT LOCATION!! The property is in very close proximity (6-8 min walk) to Earl Court underground station so getting to all the sight seeing attractions are easily accessible. We came in from Gatwick airport and took tube into the hotel. Wasn’t much of a hassle at all.

The keycard wasn't working very well until we asked the staff to reset it a couple times. Also, the wifi was laggy for the TV's.
I loved the view from the window, variety of foods for breakfast, and the kindness of the staff. The room was clean and warm, and the beds were very comfortable.
