The fact there was no lock on toilet door. Size of bath it was corner bath couldnt relax in it. Damp on ceiling in lounge area. Artex cracking on ceiling. There is parking spaces but limited but you cant go out anywhere or youll lose your space. If you keep your car there you run the risk of cars parking behind you blocking you in . Room 422 in lounge you had a view of a box thing .outside of hotel needs refreshing with paint. Balconey needs updating. Floor tiles wobbly in couple places . Damp on ceiling see photo . I would stay again but request a different room . Rooms on top floor looked better balconeys

Location was excellent . View was amazing . Size of room brilliant. Very clean comfy bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Very helpful on reception desk. Short walk downhill to looe central.

The outside tables on the balcony were disgusting and peeling. For the money this was a shame.

Friendly staff- a little dated in places but beautiful location.

There's certainly a smell in this hotel. The corridors look like 1976, and they smell like it too. When I opened my door to my room for the first time, there was an unpleasant 'warm and moist' smell which I managed to resolve by opening the french door to the balcony and turning the heating off. The breakfast was fine. I've certainly had worse but I've also had better.

I stayed here for a night. The room was nice and modern and had a nice sea view. Good shower pressure. No complaints about the basics.

The zip link beds are not an ideal way to achieve a double. It would have helped to have had a proper mattress topper. We asked after the 1st night but nothing happened. It wasn't good to be able to feel the zip below the sheets.

We booked a room with a sea view and that certainly didn't disappoint. It was brilliant to be able to go out onto the balcony and see the sun glistening on the sea and hear the waves below. We also enjoyed the indoor pool which also had a sea & sky view. The changing rooms were rather small but great to have this facility.

We only found out about the snooker room as we were leaving! The only real ale (a new barrel) on turned out to be bad (not their fault) which was a disappointment.

It was March and the hotel was relatively quiet - we were upgraded to a sea view room with balcony which was fabulous. The spa facilities and pool looked wonderful (we didn’t have time to do more than inspect them) and the walk into Looe was easy. Handy car parking right outside the hotel. Good breakfast. Lovely staff.

The food could be better, the steak was a bit over done for a medium rare and in two occasion food on the menu and day list was not available. It could be because it’s off season.

Location was great and staff are all friendly and helpful. Spa facilities are great and will recommend that you book some treatment massage and facial

We booked a king bed room but was disappointed to find twin beds zipped together. Unfortunately the gap between them was a bit large. The mattresses were tired so felt a little like rolling to the edges. We were able to park the car outside the hotel, but that was lucky as the spaces allocated to the hotel on the clifftop were full.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The views were stunning from the room and the common areas. The location was great, easy to get to the beautiful beach. The restaurant had a good variety of vegetarian options and the food was good. The room was spacious, had everything needed. The spa facilities were good.

We were not told that would be scaffolding up on hotel & roofing work going on. But it was out of season & did not impact on our stay. Drinks were quite expensive. Not very many good alcohol free drink options. Was quite cold in bar area in evening. But overall we had a lovely stay,, the location is stunning and the staff were very helpful and polite.

The sea view was fantastic . We had a complimentary upgrade to have a outside balcony terrace. Lovely large room, the food in the restaurant was superb & to a very high quality. Very pleasant staff.

Being picky, I would have liked a larger room with perhaps the bedroom being separate. Because the leisure facilities are open to the public ( I fully understand why), the facilities were crowded with I think one local family taken up residence in the hot tub. This meant that the Car parking was also a bit of a lottery as people parked to use the leisure facilities. As I said being picky - these point would not stop me from visiting again

The location is probably one of the best, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was superb quality. We enjoyed both a light evening meal in the Bar and Breakfast - which was excellent.
