Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicOnce we left the reception and went outside to the room there was terrible smell. I guess it was problem with waste water or something like that, but we could feel it everyday. And it was unpleasant once the smell got in the room. The close by beach is not nice and you have to go somewhere else or enjoy the pool :).
Hotel is situated right next to main road and there are enough parking places. The room was clean and we had a nice pool view. Location of the hotel is really nice, close to Lindos and south beaches that are just amazing without people. Breakfast were really good and had no problem with anything. Recommend pancakes as a dessert. :)

EstoniaPlayground was a bit too old and dangerous for kids. We had some ants in the room, though it was cleaned every day. As kids friendly hotel recommend to have pee pots. Pictures look a bit nicer than reality.
Pools were great for children. Also small pool was convinient. Staff was kind and helpful. Family rooms had great access to the pool area. Beach was close, walking distance.

Poland- The staff in the restaurant was mostly poor. 6/7 days we had to wait for the service or even ask for it, which was the only one active responsibility of them, besides cleaning the tables. - The beach was mostly acclaimed by the new resort nearby. It was unpleasant, dirty and full of stones. The road to the beach was indeed short, yet it went trough ongoing building state. - Without a car the location of the hotel is quite poor. Reaching other places like nearby town or other restaurants by foot would need a longer stroll. The parking was just a spacious road, rather than paved place to put a car and it wasn't secured anyhow. - The Wi-Fi was unstable and slow. Even with perfect reception there were not connection to the Internet
- Big clean pool with many sun-beds around and the outside open bar and table tenis - Full tennis court with equipment free to use - Spacious rooms with comfy beds and balcony - Events hold by the hotel were nice attractions - Good value for the money after all

IsraelThere is no coffee set in the room, half of the double bed that was in my room, the mattress sleeps with sockets in the middle, there are sometimes performances in the bar in the evening and it is a bit disturbing if you want quiet, but when you close the window, you can hardly hear. The safe cash box it is with payment.
There is value for the price, a cute hotel very close to the sea, a large room that is perfectly well equipped except for a coffee system, a private pool in front of the balcony, a beautiful public pool, a bar, tennis courts, ping pong and a gym, nice and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast with a large buffet, 10 minutes drive from Lindos beach and Saint Paul beach. Hope to go back there next vacation. highly recommend!

FinlandVery weak to no wifi in rooms. The TV, when working, offered a bizarre and not very entertaining mix of Euro channels, none in English but oddly one Chinese. The music from the pool is loud and constant, until the evening when the outdoor entertainment kicked in, so the rooms around the pool or near the hotel lobby building are rarely peaceful. The 300 building farthest from pool and lounge is best location.
Value was excellent for the price, primarily because it served a wide variety of good food if you take the breakfast and dinner option. Good location near the beach. Decent sized rooms.

United KingdomThe room 228 did have some stains on the curtains and the front door on the inside, and the toilet should have a lock on it, the tv only has news channels in English maybe you should try putting my channels on there.
It was a fantastic week, I stayed for, I got the full board for food, and soft drinks/ snacks at the beach bar, they even hosted a Greek food day, a live band playing every three days in a row, and overall it was excellent and the room was very clean and staff members were very friendly especially Francesca the receptionist, who would recommend us places to go or book trips for us and is very efficient and friendly and has great communication, thank you very much Lardos Bay Hotel.

HungaryI know it was off season but some of the activities didn't go ahead which was ok but if they did would have been good for kids. Season dictated a more older grouping but not at all off putting just not as busy which is good.
Good family room. Great pool area. Games area was a good option for kids..easy parking and close to beach which we didn't end up using.

Isle of ManUnfortunately our enjoyment was ruined by the overpowering smell of sewage especially around our room and pool area. Restaurants in Lardos are a taxi ride away We were unable to get a taxi back to the hotel one night , a local shop keeper very kindly gave us a lift. This is no fault of the hotel but worth bearing in mind if you are not on a meal plan .
Spacious room, lovely bathroom with excellent shower. Swim up shared pool very nice . Close to beach Free parking Friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend the hotel when sewage problems are sorted out.

United KingdomRoom cleaning wasn’t great and some things were broken. The septic tank kept getting blocked which caused a horrendous smell. Twice a day the entertainment staff put music on full blast at the pool for two hours each time which meant we hardly used the pool.

EstoniaIt is not a minus, just for people considering booking this hotel - you should definitely have a car since it is located not in the village and there is nothing to do outside without a car. Beach nearby is not so good, so take a car again :) Cleaning is every day, but I would prefer every other day, but more profound. We had a really great holiday, thank you!
Amazing staff - so great, kind, and helpful people. They are a real asset to this hotel. Overall excellent value for money, a very good 3* hotel. Yes, the choice at the restaurant is not so big, but it is a 3* hotel, not 5* (although breakfast indeed needs improvement, really poor choice and hard to take something). The quality of food for lunch and dinner is quite good. The beds are very comfortable, and the fridge, A/C are working fine in the room. Minidisko for kids, some entertainment for adults during the day also.

FinlandRoom cleaning is not perfect. I would like sheets and towers changed more often then in 3-4-5 days. We always asked to add soap to shower. And I couldn't get iron, asked several times, never got :(
Not faraway from the sea and beach, about 200 m. Sea is very clean and beautiful. The kitchen is excellent! The food is diverse and delicious. Not faraway from famous city Lindos. Good swimming pool. Good animation. Good for children

CyprusThe design of the shower door causes the bathroom floor to be very wet after shower which was annoying. There was an unpleasant sewer odour outdoors (not all the time, it comes and goes)
A nice hotel with beautiful gardens, clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach. The village (2 km. away) is nice to visit. The food, especially lunch and dinner is very good. I'd recommend this hotel to families with kids. The entertainment teaw was superb.
