If you don’t have a car, it’s a bit harder to get around. There is however, a bus stop right near the hotel.

Beautiful location, away from the heavily populated tourist locations. The host, Nikos, welcomed us warmly and was always up for a chat over some tsipouro. He really made our stay so special. I would also recommend having dinner at the hotel,

Such an amazing location, away from the larger towns. It’s so quiet and peaceful! The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The room had everything you needed for a short stay.

I missed that no kitchenette was included but there are plenty of restaurants on the island including one on the beach which serves very nice food.

Iconic view of the port , the cape and the open sea from a wonderful and comfortable balcony. Rooms are simple but well functioning, fridge, AC all perfect. The owners are very welcoming, nice, friendly and easy. An absolute recommendation for those appreciating tranquillity, views and honest Greek hospitality.

Little too simple.... But we do not care :-)

Nikos is perfect host, Archodia got us to the room, simple but very nice and was perfect to our needs. Location is just above a nice bay, 5 min walk to the beach, the resterants are excelent. 2 min to the chearch to view the sunset

My mother and I stayed in this little corner of paradise for two nights, I only wish it was longer. Nikos and Ionassis are wonderful hosts - we felt so welcome immediately. The place is simple but very comfortable with everything you need, and we had the most gorgeous view from our seaview balcony that I will honestly be dreaming of forever (I definitely recommend booking sea view if you can!) Cheronissos is just so, so cute - we felt really lucky to stay there!! It is a little isolated from the rest of the island, but it's still pretty easy to either rent a car or use the buses (get the bus time table at the information office in Kamares when you arrive), and it is just such a lovely, peaceful spot to return to at the end of the day. There are a couple of good taverns in the little village. I definitely hope to return!!

There are no words to describe the hospitality and the warmth of the owners. They were welcoming and throughout our stay we experienced genuine Greek hospitality. The food was original and exceptionally tasteful. The view from the balcony of the room amazing. Highly recommended. We are looking forward to return to this unspoiled and authentic place.

incredible location, we could see both sunrise and sunset from the room. Nicolas and his wife were the most accomplice hosts, get beyond the simple look and enjoy Greece at its finest

The room we stayed in had 2 twin beds that don’t attach fully so not the most ideal.

The hospitality we received at Romanza exceeded all other hotels we stayed at in Greece. We were greeted for every meal by the hosts and had fresh delicious food at their taverna. The hotel itself is very simple but with breathtaking views. It’s located on the more remote side of the island in a fishing village. The water was calm and the atmosphere was incredible peaceful.

There are few restaurants and only one shop within walking distance so it’s hard to get fresh food or supplies if you don’t have transportation. The facilities are quite dated and tired- a few hooks in the rooms (especially the bathroom) would make everything more comfortable.

Romanza is in a great spot surrounded by nature (it’s very remote, so you really need a car here). The hosts are amazing though, and go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable, with beautiful thoughtful touches, really making you feel like part of the family.

Very basic rooms and hard and uncomfortable beds. You have the shower curtains in your lap when you use the toilet. It is a very remote area on the island.

Friendly hosts and a beautiful bay. Water and beer in the fridge upon arrival. Good air condition and a nice view.

Lovely hotel run by a friendly family with lots of knowledge about the area. We loved staying in Cherronisos which is a quiet little bay in the north of the island with two great tavernas. it was easy to take the bus to explore other parts of the island too. We liked the fig jam for breakfast and watching the view from the terrace.

Just a word of advice to travelers: if you’re looking for a luxury villa with infinity pool and Cycladic cave architecture like you might get in santorini, this is not the place for you. come here if you want a down to earth, REAL, authentic experience with kind and generous hosts who make you feel like family.

this was perfect for us because it was quiet and far from tourists, in a small fishing village at the northernmost point of the island. we loved the view of the bay and the Aegean on either side, and swam in both. Nikolaos and his wife were such caring and generous hosts, and we will always remember them fondly. Nikolaos is an amazing cook as well, and they even surprised us with a halva cake to celebrate our wedding. a humble, quaint and authentic Grecian experience.
