The room is much darker them it appeared in the booking.com photos and the terrace is not private despite being title studio with terrace.

Good hospitality for pick ups and the room is clean. Proper shower and air-conditioning, good size bed and beautiful terrace

The roads are definitely steep, may not be accessible to people with a disability.

Super clean, the host was really kind and offered to pick us up from the parking (accept if you park at the cemetery) and welcome drinks.

We simply liked everything. The room and the bathroom were perfectly clean, but what we loved most was the view from the terrace and a glass of Teran we had on it at night. Our kid loved the hosts and the puppies they've just had. The hosts are very very nice, "normal" people and we liked them at first sight! One of those short, but perfect stays that we''ll definitely remember...

Our balcony was facing another house - which covers a bit the nice views. We were interested in doing the truffle hunt and messaged the host while making the booking, but we were only told on the day of our arrival that the truffle hunt could not be done on Sundays - which was a pitty :(

The room was big and well-equipped even with a washing machine! The location was perfect in Motovun and really quiet. Breakfast was lovely! Homemade Croissants, bread and charcuterie from the area :)

Motovun really is a gorgeous place, but not really accessible for people that use wheelchairs.

What a beautiful location. The studio was everything we needed for our short stay in Motovun. The studio was very clean and we had such a warm welcome. Breakfast on the terrace was superb, and the view from the medieval city wall can't be beaten (especially at sunset with a glass of wine).

Did not dislike the steep climb back to the room after dinner and wine. Luckily great restaurant choices were not to far from room for dinners😋

Can not say enough praise. It’s a boutique BNB that was over the top. Spacious, pristinely clean, nice decor, outrageous balcony view. Beautiful balcony breakfasts. Gracious host Lorenja can’t do anything else to make it better than what you receive, and enjoy. She has left no stone interned to give all all the luxuries you would wish a B&B could offer. This place is a must if Motovun is your destination.

There is no parking on site, but I guess that's because of the Motovun and how it's structured. So we had to walk for 10ish minutes to out car. Tho, owner picked us up by car when we arrived.

The staff was very polite and nice. Location and the views from out room were awesome.

THe only thing is that we had the room without balcony (we knew since the reservation). I am sure that it has to be beautiful the room with the view.

The owner was amazing. Kind and helpful. The garden is very charming and a great place to have breakfast and spend time. The free parking is very nice, besides the owner comes to pick you up and leave you the day you leave. This is really great!

The hospitality from Lorena was the best I’ve experienced, nothing was too much trouble. Upon my arrival a welcome glass of wine was brought to my room which I drank on the balcony, admiring the wonderful scenery. Earlier her husband came to pick me up from the car park behind the cemetery, as no cars other than residents are allowed into the old village . Parking is free for guests, just inform the parking attendant at the bottom of the hill, that your staying at Vila Marija , otherwise they’ll stop you driving any further and you’ll have to park at the bottom of the hill , this would be a long walk . Lorena prepared a lovely breakfast every morning and brought it to my room so I could eat it while admiring the view from my balcony , her homemade croissants were a delight along with the homemade elderflower lemonade . Well worth the €10. To be honest I felt like royalty, and almost part of the family, and her dog Sophie was so adorable, she was pregnant with 10 days to go . Definitely do the truffle hunting with her son Michael and his 3 dogs Lila , Mina and Roa(Roxy) , lovely friendly dogs . Mina was the eldest and didn’t partake much, she’s 10 yrs old, but think she was feeling the heat. But she did find a couple of truffles, but couldn’t be bothered digging for them, just more or less pointed them out with her paw . The beagle Roxy found loads of truffles and the owner had to be quick, as when she starts digging, with the black truffles only just underground she eats them . Which she did on a few occasions. And the fluffy pup thought it was all a game , she’ll probably need another 6 to 9 months to get fully up to speed . Normally start training them from 3 months old . Upon our return to Vila Marija , Lorena prepared us a lovely 4 course lunch with truffles in every course, plenty of wine and some lovely, home made elderflower lemonade. It was to die for, very refreshing. And Michael and Lorena kept bringing more wine and elderflower.

fantastic location & wonderful views from the terrace. lovely hosts who offered us a drink on arrival. it was well worth paying extra for the breakfast, which was excellent. Room was small but really clean and very comfy & the terrace made it feel much larger.

Although the hosts kindly welcomed us with a drink, we had to walk a short way down the street to the terrace where there was a limited view. Being that our bedroom faced the road, I guess that the amazing views are from the balcony of a different room.

Hosts were very accommodating. Although you can't drive right up to the old town (and wouldn't want to unless you had a 4 wheel drive!), they promptly picked us up and delivered us back to carpark when asked. Comfortable clean room.

Lorena catered to our every need, awesome custom breakfasts, perfect location in the cutest hill town we've ever seen. Our room's balcony had a dramatic panoramic view. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning view. Really nice room with a spacious balcony that overlooks the valley. Appreciated the ride from the free parking lot. Don't refuse this offer as its quite the uphill haul.

From the room description we were under the impression the terrace was private but in reality we had to share it with another guest.

The location was beautiful, the host was friendly and the breakfast was delicious and enjoying it on the terrace with the amazing view was the favorite part of our stay. Make sure to try the hosts delicious home made Elderflower drink if you get the chance.

Marija was an excellent host - very helpful with getting out luggage to the her place from the parking lot outside the pedestrian zone which is reserved for residents only
