The double room was so small that the beds could not be lined together, I guess it was a single room with an extra bed, at a double room price. The bathroom, although looked like newly renovated, had a nasty uncomfortable old smell, probably from the pipes. There was no space around the sink basin in the bathroom, so you can’t place your own objects - cosmetics, etc.

Breakfast is ok, the hotel is situated in a small city not far away from to the motorway.

I didnt like the coldness and rudeness of the hotel staff. Also, room was average and not that spacious. AC in the room was so loud and it goes on all night and its unbearable, i couldnt sleep. Breakfast and dinner was mediocre, no variety and same food every day. Buffet is so small and they take forever to refill. Overall impression is below average for the place that advertises as upscale 4 star hotel.

Location is good if you came to visit Mako spa. Other then that, hotel is average and doesnt justify the price.

We were really disappointed by the treatment of the staff who worked in the restaurant during dinner hours. The dinner is served at 18h, and we came at 18h sharp right after the spa. They were sniggering and gave us funny looks even before we sat down to eat. When we sat down to eat, we noticed that the other guests who showed up in the meantime were served drinks, and the waiters came to take their orders- I suppose the drinks weren't included in the price for dinner, but I don't think our money wasn't good here, we wanted to have a nice dinner, we would have paid for the drinks. All the while through dinner we were getting funny looks. We thought we may have gotten the wrong impression, and went out to find a place to have a drink, but we liked the atmosphere in the hotel lobby (it's a really beautiful hotel and the Christmas decorations are nice) so we came back. We ordered a bottle of wine, and the person who took our order came back, put the bottle down alongside two glasses, and just left! She didn't even open the bottle! My partner called her back and asked her to pour our drinks and open the bottle. We were really uncomfortable with the whole experience of having to deal with this, not to mention the sniggers during dinner. While checking out, I notified the receptionist that I had a complaint to make, and this was a first for me, I usually try my best to forget the negative experience and try and enjoy the other aspects of the stay, but honestly, this was too much. The receptionist mentioned that they had a lot of guests, and they may have been overwhelmed with work, but we noticed that they had 5 or 6 people working at the restaurant while we were the first guests at dinner and the restaurant was empty when we arrived, and I can see no reason why we would be treated this way. This experience left a bitter aftertaste for us. Didn't expect this at a 4* hotel.

The hotel is really beautiful, the room was the same as the photographs. The selection of food for breakfast and dinner was okay, I think it could use more variety for dinner for the selection. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent, it is right next to the spa center. The person working at the reception at the time of our check-in was really cheerful and nice, also the receptionist working during our check-out was really pleasant. The parking is a great perk.

According to my previous experience with this hotel, it looks like COVID lockdown and all circumstances behind hit them a lot. Heating in our room was not working, Air-condition as well was broken. I have to admit, they offer to fix it during our stay, but as we used room just in evening hours, heating from the bathroom was enough, so we asked them not to work on it during the stay. Breakfast is not as it was before. It was happening that hour before official breakfast closing time there was no fresh milk, bread, croissants or fruits. I would say that food variety is also downsized, but this is not so challenging compared to bread or milk missing. Previous years, we could take wellness towels and bathrobes (bade mantil) every morning, dry and clean, but this year we were informed there are not enough towels/bathrobes so we should bring it to room for drying (without proper heating in room, this is mission impossible).

This is not the first time I've visited this hotel. Location is perfect if you are planning to spend a time in Hagymatikum Spa (right across). Hotel is nice and cozy. You have a safe parking slot available for guests in a backyard.

The fact that you need superior room to have 2 beds next to each other. Visible on the room details in an other way and if you book …. you need to keep it due to the 50 %. Worst customer experience! The dinner time is until 21 and not 22 as visible on the site. Late check in at 15 … and early check out. SPA coats refused to change.

Restaurant service could be better, had to go and find someone to order an evening drink and things weren’t topped up at breakfast. Breakfast could be better, I would expect fruit salad and fresh fruit juice in a hotel of this standard. The coffee was terrible!

It’s in a wonderful location, modern and comfortable. Overall a lovely place where we would stay again. Its been 5 years since our last stay and the hotel is still finished to a high standard.

This is not a 4* hotel! The facilities, food and cleanliness do not match the standards for a 4* hotel! The expectations were set in accordance with that therefore we felt like we were misled and left one day earlier than we payed for. Do not book this hotel unless you are willing to pay a 4* hotel price for a 3* hotel stay, at best. We would have planned accordingly if we knew this is a 3* hotel.

The hotel is very close to the Hagymatikum and the stuff was friendly and nice.
