That the heavens opened and it never stopped raining! But that is out of everyone's hands. I was a bit disappointed with my salad that I ordered on my first night - room service. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

The staff are very friendly and accommodated me immediately when asked for a yoga mat in the room and sourcing me a lovely bicycle from their complimentary selection so I could go and explore. Free yoga was a bonus, more of a stretching class but lovely to have the option.

The patio area had a lot of mosquitoes, might have been helpful to have a mosquito net. There were large beetles and insects too. Just rmb to properly prepare mosquito repellant (which you will need in Bali anyway).

The hotel is not brand new, but very well maintained.

The Lovina is an institution in a very nice spot directly at the beach. The rooms are very luxorious, spacy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice of different breakfast styles. The pool area is next to the beach, very clean and with very good service. Beach activities like standup paddeling are inclusive. Dinner is excellent with moderate prices. There was so much service staff, that you never had to wait for anything. Reception was very friendly, professional and helpful. They arranged the birthday breakfast for my daughter very nicely. Thank you again. The SPA is excellent and easy to book. Activities like morning yoga, gamelan workshop or balinese dance were very nice and professional and included in the price.

I said the food was excellent, with the exception of the barbecue. As normal guest grab more than they need. I got sick of waiting for the meat to come out and when it did it was cold. Definitely not value for money

You need to improve services to help guests to access tours and local facilities because your resort is remote and difficult to assess these services.

We very much appreciated the upgraded room, it was excellent. We liked the entertainment every night and best of all the resorts we stayed at. The resort itself is well maintained, food was very good and staff are always very good.

Absolutely nothing, it was fabulous.

The resort is just spectacular. Beautiful well maintained gardens, with meandering pathways between the well designed apartment blocks and villas. Right on the beach with a lovely restaurant offering gorgeous sunsets. All staff are so polite and helpful. Breakfast offered a big variety of options. Our accommodation was the nicest place we have stayed in many years. Spotlessly clean, with every facility you would ever need, absolutely top quality. We would not hesitate on coming back to Tjhe Lovina in the future.

The service in the restaurant is a bit slow and waiters not so attentive. Kids club is quite small Gym a bit smelly.

The hotel has a lot of options for entertainment such as free yoga classes, free use of stand up paddle boat and canoe. The property is really beautiful and well maintained. We had a room with view on the water front. There is a nice calm beach perfect for kids to play in.

The staff were all amazing and the service was excellent! The room was very large and comfortable. The decoration was less typical of Bali then the other hotels I stayed in with no real charm, but it was very functional. The breakfast was varied and very good, the restauant on the beach was also very good. They offer yoga classes and have a compact gym. The facilities are excellent and the grounds lovely. The hotel is made up of a large amount of villas. There is a shuttle service was very practical. A hotel I highly recommend.

Everything was super comfortable. The hotel has its own beach, where the boat for the tour can pick you up. There is also a free shuttle service that takes you everywhere in town you want to go. The staff is perfect and willing to assist with everything.

The TV was placed in front of the bed instead of the TV room and the beach was a bit dirty.

Communication issues from members of the team. Guys, it's either YES, YES or it's NO, NO but NOT Yes/No or No/Yes. Case of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing methinks! When the customer is talking to the Guest Manager, please try to refrain from pushing the invoice forward while simultaneously tapping your fingers rudely on the desk. Rob, please introduce yourself as the Owner from the outset to avoid future confusion as I earnestly believed that you were an interfering guest exacerbating an already stressful situation that could have and should have been avoided. Consumer Sovereignty - "The customer is King" (even if they are wrong and you are right they pay towards your business...you don't pay them! Negative reviews can cripple even the biggest of businesses! Anyway, like you said Rob, s--t happens and good karma is restored to Bali. So no need for security.

Rob the Owner from Australia has done an amazing job. Sandra, the Guest Manager is also exceptional. The room was amazing. The dinner was outstanding. Room service was polite and efficient. The hotel is perfectly situated for dolphin excursions by boat. The swimming pool is a good size and great for burning off calories from excessive consumption. The massage spa is brilliant too. Thankyou Eni for the candle wax ear treatment which was incredible. The band were good too. A great place to witness spectacular sunsets from also. Great breakfast over-looking scenic rice fields and mountains. Lots of wildlife to observe. Facilities are cool too. Highly recommend. By far the best hotel in the North of beautiful Bali. Almost Nusa Dua standards!
