    Nothing at all!

It’s amazing! Really stunning location on the lake, every room is unique, the hotel is on a number of levels that made it charming-it was really quite special! Staff went above and beyond in reception right the way through to cleaning and hospitality staff. Thank you!

Our room was tucked away next to the lift, no garden view at all, we felt it was a little expensive.

A beautiful hotel beside Lake Pichola, next to the City Palace. All the staff, the facilities and the food was first class.

Really nothing. The pool is small but still needs a few more lounge chairs. A pot of hot water at the buffet for guests to make tea on their own.

The location was perfect, the decor heavenly, great staff and daily entertainment too.

My room was near rhe restaurant and a bit noisy, which isn't normally a problem except that I had an early flight. The swimming pool is tiny and really there are only 2 sun beds, which was a shame as there were always taken.

The location couldn't be better right by the lake, near the City Palace. The place was beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and very comfortable so was the bathroom. The breakfast was top notch, the best I had.

My room was near the restaurant and until 23:00 it would be a bit noisy. That would normally not have bothered me except that I had an early flight and unfortunately couldn't sleep well.

The location couldn't be more perfect so is the hotel, beautifully decorated with a lot of taste. The room was very comfortable so was the bathroom. The breakfast was top notch, the best I had and of course having breakfast with the lake view was priceless.

The only small minor thing was that our room was not cleaned after the first night but when we raised it with the front desk they quickly arranged for a room cleaning so no harm done.

Great service staff, who were always happy to help and were all lovely! View from the restaurant was amazing. So peaceful and relaxing - I could sit there for hours and just look at the view.

This is the most incredible hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! It is a quiet heaven in the midst of udaipur with sensational views of the lake. Extremely friendly staff and gorgeous rooms, everything was just perfection. I would recommend this to anyone going to udaipur and no doubt I will return to Rajasthan just to stay at this hotel. Don’t even think about it just book it!!

I really cant say anything negative other than the gym is over crowded and needs more weights

5 star service and a location that would make a raj smile. Location that is perfect to watch the sun set on the lake. Easy walk to the Palace. Luxurious bedding and good bathrooms. Staff helped me get a medical appointment and were patient and kind

    Very limited breakfast choice

Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in a beautiful pichola lake view suite for 5 nights was spectacular. Having had holidays in 96 different countries and at least 500+ different hotel rooms, the cavernous Maharaja was definitely the most blingy with cut pieces of mirror covering all the ceilings and detailed murals covering the walls made our room very special. Expensive at £300 per room per night, but good value compared to say the Taj Palace at £500 per night. The rooftop restaurant with uninterrupted lake and palace views served very good food at reasonable prices and was ideal for a memorable romantic St Valentines evening meal !

There is a gym but it is a very very small room where max one person can train at a time

The hotel is located right at the waterfront and has a beautiful view. The rooms were exactly like in the pictures, very spacious, clean and with a nice decor. The food in the restaurant is really delicious and the views are magnificent.
