There is no tuk tuk nor car entrance anywhere close. Lots and lots of walking required, which at night can be a bit off-putting.

Gorgeous rooftop and affordable accomodation, run by a reasonable Non-profit. Very kind staff.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, old heritage building with charm. Location is great, right in the heart of the old city, extremely close to the ghats and the evening aarti. All the events are happening right at your doorstep.

Breakfast was just ok, little and plain. I would advise people who have walking problems to ask for a room on first floor, since the stairs are steep and narrow.

The place was comfortable and clean, near major attractions. Staff was very professional, suggesting places to go, drawing a make so we could locate ourselves.

This guesthouse is real gem in the centre of Varanasi. Very cosy and comfort and extremely clean with exceptional staff. It is also worth of mention that is managed by NGO so the part of the income goes for education of girls and for protection of Varanasi heritage:)

Problems with water, it’s very limited. We had a very weak water stream in the shower.

Ram Bhavan Residency is a beautiful quite place in the old town of Varanasi not too far from the Ganges. Everything is very clean and the rooms are beautiful. Is a place to rest and feel at home. The breakfast and food, that you can order is very good. There is a kitchen you can use, if you would like to. There is a café on the roof. And even higher a look out. If you like there is more to explore inside the house: decorations, plants, art, books and it is part of an educational society as well. Enjoy :)

Rag Bhawan has a truly special feel to it-an old, traditional building that maintains its character. It’s simple + very tastefully and authentically furnished and decorated. Nice staff, good food, enjoy Ashu’s homemade bread, pizza, and friendliness :)

Lovely locataion. The staffs are very kind and helpful. The room's and whole building's look is very retro, artistic and beautiful. The rooftop restaurant provides a wide range of food. Nice rooftop view. Spacious room and clean toilets.

Heritage home, easy to locate, clean, tidy, well kept, comfortable rooms, neat bathrooms, sufficient services, old building yet modern, great support staff, very close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, roof top view is nice. A very pleasant stay. This will be my stay stop at Banaras now.

The cleaning of the toilets could be more often and the breakfast is very basic.

The location itself and where the residency is placed are the best point of this accommodation. It is 2 minutes from Munschi Ghat, you can walk to the evening Araati in 3 minutes. In the middle of the most authentic and colourful part of the city. Everything is very easy to reach from there. The food in the restaurant is superb and for a fair price. The staff is totally kind and reliable.

Great guesthouse! You get the friendly staff, the community vibe and the comfort. We got all the help we could hope for during my partner's sickness. 50 meters away from the ghats, location couldn't be better

Shoe room was placed in such a way that your feet would get wet and dirty on a rainy day. Shared bathrooms were hit or miss depending on who was there before you.

Authentic and beautiful property right in the centre of the ghats. Staff were always helpful and attentive to our needs, and the rooftop cafe gave great views of the city, particularly in the evening. Rooms were comfortable and well decorated.
