Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomon 9th Jan , 1st Day the room we were given was ok however we noticed bad cigarette smell in the room foul smell from bedding (Pillow & Duvet Cover) and complained to management however they did not have spare room hence had to spend a night, next day on 10th Jan 2024 we did get moved to a decent room.

IndiaWe found a full dustbin and a Bacardi bottle lying in the bathroom when checked in the room. The morning receptionist has a very bad way of speaking. Had a very rude way of saying things that could have been said politely. And he always nagged us about payments as we were running somewhere without paying.
The location majorly and cleanliness. The young night receptionist and the guard were amazing and helpful.

IndiaThe hotel is super old and our room was very small. Its completely outdated. The hotel needs to renovate and upgrade themselves. The furniture is almost at the verge of dying. Only plus point is location

United KingdomWe booked their deluxe room as per their photos on Booking.com website. However they deceived us and gave us their worst room. When we complained they said this was the only room available. There was work going on which they did NOT tell us about. In the bathroom window there was not curtain but instead they used a worn out old towel to cover the windows! Also there was mould in the room. See the photos I have posted. I think they reserve the bad rooms for those of us who have booked (without seeing the room) through online sites such as Booking.com knowing fully well that since we have paid what's the worst we can do?
