very noisy air conditioning unit outside my door on and off all night every five minutes. I complained and was told they’d do something the next day but they ignored it.

my daughter and I had two rooms. hers was perfect. both were clean and comfortable. lovely courtyard to relax in. good restaurant. great location set back from the Main Street. comfy bed. minbar fridge. lovely relaxing place to reset. lovely bathroom with free vanity set on arrival. towels were lovely. the room setup was perfect. information pack and map on arrival was really useful.

We loved this hotel. Location was fantastic. Great room, bed, shower etc. The staff were amazing, they couldn't have done more for us. Breakfast was great and the food in the 1916 restaurant was lovely. The hotel organised trips and pick ups at a good price. We would definitely recommend!!

The rooms are expensive. Though in booking.com, the room was suppose to have a bathtub but it was a standard room. The soap provided in bathroom had gone bad with blackish spots and fungus lookalike. Since it was just an overnight stsy, it didn't matter much.

I liked the location and the staff in restaurants, provideing check in services and also delivery person Ankit.

The furniture in the room & bathroom is old and worn out - needs replacement. The breakfast start time of 8 AM is late for early risers.

The hotel is very close to the Dashaswamedh ghat, vishwanath temple, shopping center and other main attractions. The hotel staff are very humble, helpful and excellent. All the tour arrangements they made were very good. The breakfast is extremely tasty and even lunch / dinner menu is also very delicious. The rooms are of comfortable size.

We were not impressed by the city tour organised at the front desk - the particular driver we got on the day was an irritable character ..unprofessional and had no knowledge of the city - this was our only bad experience throughout our stay and I did provide this feedback to the hotel. If I had to do this again, I would research specific travel companies that specialise in tours - I only booked this at the front desk as I thought it would be easier for my mother with mobility restrictions to be picked up and dropped off at the door.

Two things .. proximity and staff. The hotel is close to the main Vishwanath temple … as close to the temple as vehicles are allowed beyond which you need a two wheeler to get any closer. I chose this due its proximity so that my mother who has mobility issues could manage to get to the temple and the ghats .. there is about 100 meter walk from the road - where cars drop people off -to the front door of the hotel that had to be slowly negotiated by my mother. We did end up hiring a man with a wheelchair from the temple (gate4) who, for a fee, was able to wheel my mother both to the temple and the top of the ghats. The staff were excellent at the property - courteous, polite, friendly and helpful. I have to mention Suhail in the restaurant on the second floor and the guard at the gate ..I regret not getting his name.. they were both particularly helpful and friendly young men.

Best part of the property is its location as every place in Varanasi is at walking distance. Moreover room service, food quality & service are very good. Staff is cordial & co operative. In nutshell the hotel is true value for money.

Breakfast was buffet Excellent. Not much in items but that is understandable as they have only 20 rooms or so. But quality of food was excellent. Suhail, who works in the restaurant, with his friends made sure everything was served hot and fresh.

Since it is a SmallBungalow-turned-hotel, rooms are small and less spacious. Parking space for not more than 2 cars.

Location at walking distance from Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath. The rooms were clean, food was good. Prices are high but reasonable if you check the avg cost of accommodation in this area.

Lot of issues in getting hot water timely. Had to call front desk to complain and then after 10 min, used to get hot water. Looks like they switch of the geyser and don't on it unless someone complains

Location is perfect. 10 min walk to Vishwanath temple. Throw away distance to all the famous eateries like Kashi Chat center and Sunil Jalpan. Room size is bit small, however they are clean including toilets. Location and access to temple and other shopping center/hotels superceeds the facilities in the room. Will certainly book this hotel again during my next visit.

Hotel is located very near to the Visvanath temple and you can walk to the temple. Rooms were big and hotel food was good as well. Room service was excellent and friendly staffs too.

Ran into difficulty for payment at checkout time. It was suspected that I exceeded my bank card limits, but turned out to be a problem on the Merchant side and I had deductions twice.
