They cheated us, we booked king bed and they joined two twin beds and told us to get on with it. They didn’t change the room even after we asked them several times. Roos size was about 90sft, they advertised it as 3800sfy Breakfast hygiene is really bad. They were touching food with hands

very very VERY quiet. it said it had a pool bar but there isn’t. no entertainment or music it’s silent by the pool and can be awkward. lots of customers said they had entertainment before but this stopped and now it’s a silent place. lots of unhappy people about this.

Been staying at Sonesta since last 7 years at least trice a year. Location is superb beach touch room are clean and spacious parking is good. Staff always cooperative and prompt breakfast very nice spread like South Indian and continental both. Pool is good too.

The attitude of the reception staff when l had to change rooms due to the allocated room being in the full glare of the sun all day. Could not use the Balcony as too hot. Found a room with a shaded balcony but it was a lower budget room than what l had booked. The receptionist was VERY reluctant to change rooms and after much deliberation was told that she was not prepared to lose the difference in room prices if l swapped to a lower priced room. I told the female receptionist that l was not about the money but where l felt more comfortable. Was shown the room that I was interested in (224) and was happy to take it. I then returned to my pre-booked suite to pack my bag to move when there was a knock at the door from the concierge saying that the receptionist was sorry but l could not have that room after all but could look at others but away from the pool view that l booked. After returning to the reception and following a heated discussion l was allowed to move into room 224. It put a bit of a downer on the start of our holiday. The hotel staff, Cleaners, Restaurant, and Pool staff were excellent and very attentive.

Nothing it was all great. We went in mid October so the tourist season hasn’t started so there are no beach beds or parasols so you have to make do with towels on the sand, but that’s not anything to do with the hotel.

This place is a hidden gem a tropical oasis set off the main road and 100m to the beautiful Candolim beach. The staff from cleaners, pool attendants, security and restaurant are wonderful who can’t do enough for you. The food is great, generous and highly quality. I can’t speak highly enough about The Sonesta Inn.

Breakfast was not that great. The rooms appeared renovated but did not meet the standards. The initial payment mechanism upon booking was quite a hassle. It was sorted out on check-in though.

The location was good and the staff was also quite helpful.

The rooms were not as shown in photos. They were much below 4 Star. The reception area is not airconditioned. The photographs on the website are misleading as they are of when the property was new.

Breakfast was really good and had a lot of variety. Location was good. It is 10 minutes walk to the main road where all shops, restaurants, etc. are available. Getting transport is no issue.

we experienced some mosquitos when lived on the ground floor room. breakfast needs some more continental food.

nice place with harmonious atmosphere with clean pool and wonderful balconies. the beach is just nearby and there is a bunch of shacks with good food and drinks. just in front of the hotel there is the best restaurant in Candolim area called Harmony. beach is clean there compared to other parts of Candolim beaches. room service is great. every day you get a couple of bottles of fresh water

This place is an oasis in the storm of Goa. Would 100% stay again. Staff very attentive of all your needs and nothing was any trouble. Room very comfortable, pool was great. Hotel is in-between the busy part of Goa and the peaceful part allowing you to choose your day. Diverse breakfast. Very peaceful nights.
