Amazing property! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and cozy, the food was the best we’ve had in Italy and the wine tour and tasting was well done!! We will be back!

Breakfast was great. Lots of selection, plus they cooked our favorite eggs and bacon. There are simply many delightful people working at Volpaia, not just for breakfast, but everywhere including front office, all of the 4 restaurants, wine tours, maid service. There is a genuine outpouring of care for the guests. We made friends with all of the employees. We loved our 6 days and we will be returning. The word panorama was created for Tuscany, with glorious views every direction. We look forward to returning, Jim & Loan

We had a lovely tub in our room but unfortunately couldn’t get the water hot enough for a bath. Everything else was excellent 😊

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the Castello is so beautiful and we enjoyed our visit a lot. Nest breakfast we got in Tuscany and also the wine is excellent. Couldn’t recommend more! We will definitely come back.

Not much, besides the fact that it rained for 1 day during our visit 😁. Would be nice to have some option to buy water and alike since you need to travel otherwise to a larger next village.

You are in a really quiet village and you look at the Tuscan hills from the window of your room. How to beat that. It was the best room in our entire trip. Impeccable on the inside and ancient and original on the outside. Breakfast is amazing and they skillfully prepare your hot food/drinks like eggs/capucino on the spot, per your request.

I didn't want to leave! Really it is a hidden gem in the hills of Tuscany.

The hotel is more than what you see in the photos, it is located in such a pretty little village and is quiet with superb views where ever you look. The room was exactly as expected and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a lot on offer. We dined at the restaurant that is associated with the hotel and the food is outstanding and really is a place that should be visited on your trip. The service from Asif in the restaurant was outstanding as was the service from Martina in the office when we needed help.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Everything was perfect. The property is spectacular and the staff is so kind and helpful. Lorenzo and Fabio helped find us a great restaurant for dinner outside of the town. The town has a handful of restaurants which are all great too. Overall, what you imagine your perfect Tuscan vacation to be.

Outdoor pool wasn’t heated and needed updating.

Things needed repair in the room, the shampoo Holder falling off the wall. The shower door was not closing properly, so water ran into the bedroom... just little things that showed it wasn't quite 4 stars. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

It's in the gorgeous village of Volpaia, picturesque everywhere you look. Lorenzo was fantastic! The bed was super comfy. Osteria restaurant on-site was fabulous. The maitre de was really lovely, chatty and great service.

Beautiful location! Quiet, incredible views, charming small village, welcoming hosts, suite was super private. A great town to relax and enjoy outstanding wine, fabulous meals at the local restaurants, and take great day trips.

The beds are very firm - but perhaps that’s an Italian custom. It is not airconditioned - we only had 2 out of the 7 nights where it was very hot. Otherwise there was usually a lovely breeze through the screened windows and there are small pedestal fans provided in each room.

The apartment was perfect for 2 couples and we also had our son and his girlfriend stay for a couple of nights too. The views from the private garden/bbq area were probably the best in the village. We stayed for a week and felt very welcome during our stay. The staff were always very eager to help and provide anything we requested - eg an extra baking tray, extra pillow. The apartment is huge and can very comfortably accomodate 6 people.

The air conditioning in our room was very noisy and ineffective - but they were doing some work to that the day we left. The rooms are simple but comfortable.

It is hard to think of a more beautiful spot - both the hilltop buildings themselves and the location - stunning countryside with beautiful views from our bedroom window. Great choice of restaurants and a lovely wine/pizza bar. Lots of places to sit and relax. The estate wine, both red and white, is good.

We loved everything.

I absolutely adore the place, it is unique and has character. Great view from our window. We took the excursion to the cellars and winery and it gave us a lot information about the place and made us love the place even more. Volpaia wine is great and the restaurants serve the greatest food.

The facilities and staff were superb. The place feels like a little village and you instantly feel part of it because of how friendly and hospitable the staff are. The cooking class is an absolute must.

Castello di Volpaia is a place that breathes craftmanship. The tour by Laila was amazing, but also the other staff are wonderfull. We needed some help due to some circumstances and everyone gave their best!! Thank you Volpaia for the help and beautifull stay!
